Not a great kit, but I will give them credit for a great launch. Inclusive, representative of all elements of the community.
It’s not often that I’ll say well done to them, but on this occasion they deserve it.

"The Rovers players let the whole of Bristol down..." !!! ???
What a dumb-ass ! More accurate to say "the Rovers players brought joy and unbridled delight to 90% of those residing in Bristol and surrounding areas"
Possibly one of the happiest days of my life.
Made even better by the weeping, wailing and incriminations on the radio from those utterly bewildered, distressed and totally humiliated Fewers.
If Carlsberg did relegations, they couldn't do a better one than this.
Thanks for the memory.
I had a great day. Was in Cardiff with my Cardiff supporting friend as it happened. The same day that Cardiff were relegated from the Premier League. Day of dreams.

Imagine a derby with Pearson in one dugout and Barton in the other....

Joey Barton being appointed according to Bristol Live. Perfect fit for them. Scum.

Seems to nearly always be good for a costly mistake each game, but that’s what you get from young players.
Wouldn’t be playing ahead of a back three of Kalas, Baker & Mawson.

Yep, seems to have been pretty common “back in the day”.
I’m glad I got in to football at the time Rovers were in Bath, as I grew north of the river. My dad is an Argyle fan, so just took me to any team that was local. Could well have ended up on the other side of the fence if Rovers had still been playing in Bristol then.
Jeez, I’m off for a wash, I feel dirty.

The EFLs club TV channel. We opted out and have our own system, where matches are available for “international” viewers or those with a good VPN.

Let’s just hope we get above Preston on PPG before then.

Nope, off to the bin it goes....
To be fair, this was one piece of news that probably deserved it’s own thread for a few hours. It’s an interesting topic and several wouldn’t have seen it as quickly in the normal thread - which isn’t one I usually check. One evening wouldn’t have done much harm.

Going to Mansfield apparently. Couldn’t make it up
I hear he’s taking the Gas away kit with him, so Mansfield have an emergency kit at all times.

That is excellent news.
So pleased for Bolton. Is the town my grandmother lives in, so have a soft spot. Remember going into town with her when they had their promotion parade to celebrate promotion to the top tier many moons ago.

Fingers crossed
I’d imagine the latest news would be enough for an extension.
Dale says he’s accepted but the buyers, C&N investments, say that’s not quite the case yet.
I’d guess they’ll get a day or two more.
-
There’s hope. Dale is saying he’s sold the club. Apparently to Alastair Campbell’s son.

This is actually one of my favourite football photos of all time.
Really captures the emotion of relegation from the entire football league and actually made me feel a bit sorry for the fan, as his team had been relegated from the entire football league.
Shows how much it means, whilst still being hilarious, as Rovers had just been relegated from the entire football league.
Funny, yet still a tiny bit sad, to this day.

I suspect that, if he’s found guilty, their club will probably do the right thing and get rid.
Sadly, I can’t say the same about our club after their support of Simpson.
