I do wonder if Liverpool could make a move seeing as Henderson looks to be off to Saudi? Not saying he'll be his replacement but imagine they'll be a bit short on the home grown player quota?
A lot of Liverpool fans seem to want him.

If Ekrem Konur says it then it must be true.
Have a look at his Twitter. May be one of those who deletes where they’re wrong, but he seems to get a lot right.

Starting to sound like Derby fans
I don’t think many are claiming we’re bigger than Bournemouth, just expressing concern over this move.
He could end up like Lloyd Kelly, tipped for the top but never got that move after going to an unfashionable club. Yes, he’s had a good career, but he was tipped for England caps just like Scott.

So, if the player leaving is announced first, does that mean Derby will announce Knight leaving at the same time as we announce Wilson?

I agree with you but I see those strikers that could be good enough to play central striker in a 4-3-3, in a team finishing in the play offs as Conway and that is it. I don’t see Bell able to do that for a prolonged number of games. Cornick the same, much better wide. And Wells isn’t good enough either.
It’s the same reason I think we need a keeper, if we are to aim for the play offs. O’Leary and Conway are good enough in my opinion. But if either of them get a 2-3 month injury the drop off in quality in their positions would be significant
I don’t think you can base a recruitment strategy on “what if these guys get injured?”
If they get injured, we’ll use youngsters to replace them. Yep, they’ll be a drop in quality but the youngster could step up.
Three alternatives to this approach:
1: sign a first-team quality player to sit on the bench. Would cost a fee and wages.
2: replace our starting strikers and keeper with someone better. If you’re going to spend, why not upgrade? Costs money though.
3. Get a loan player in as back up. Pearson doesn’t seem to like developing other teams’ players though, and these deals often require playing time guarantees.
In our current position, going with what we’ve got seems quite sensible unless we can upgrade at an affordable price.

He’s just signed a new contract at Maidenhead. Fans weren’t best pleased.

Got a few contacts here at Maidenhead - they’re due 20% of any Max Kilman sale. Huge number for them if he goes for £35m.

Especially as Rice has let it be known that he wants to join Arsenal and has already agreed terms with them.
Man City stepping it up… (for Rice, that is)

Great player but his lack of goals and assists is a factor I am sure for some who prefer stats. Beliieve there is a good chance he will be here for another season which will further boost his value, and who knows we might just fluke the play offs.
Not a chance he’ll be here in August. Too many rumours swirling already.

Man City about to bid for Rice. Still think West Ham is Scott’s most likely destination.

Plus they have 8 centre midfielders already for next season.. who knows we'll find out in due course.
Only 8? That’s not enough depth for Ashton. He’ll buy at least another three.

Even with my red tinted specs off…..he has two mates and international pals here. He’s trained at HPC and said how great the facilities were. Will have no doubt spent time in the city too. Would say our wages would be pretty comparable to Ipswich, and we are far less of a risk than them too.
If he’s highly driven by money only, then yeah he will probably ‘choose’ Ipswich as we all know what Smokey joe is going to throw at him as their USP. Certainly doesn’t strike me as the type though.
He’ll also see the pathway. Bryan, Reid, Webster, Kelly, Semenyo, Scott… all given the opportunities to progress their careers.

Mac Allister from Brighton to Liverpool for a reported £35 million with &10 million add ons.
So if Brighton are interested in Scott, how can we get £35 million for a promising 19 year old who has only played Championship for two seasons?
Because MacAllister had a release clause.

Signing a 1 year deal with Huddersfield…
Interesting move.

I’m a bit surprised that we’re not seeing more concrete links around Scott.
The Prem season has finished. He’s back from the WC. Probably on holiday now, admittedly, but as other deals begin to get done it’s surprising that the race hasn’t really started.

I work with a born and bred Wrexham fan here in Slough. ST holder who’s been going for years.
He made a point that Ryan and Rob have bought normality in Wrexham. They’re both looking at owning houses in the area and are treated as locals when they’re in the town. Yes, everyone knows who they are, but what they’ve done for the community and the way they’ve integrated has been special.
I still wanted Notts County to beat though.

There are no distinguishing features that make these idiots city fans....not wearing colours....hope they aren't....embarrassing if they are. Equally embarrassing if they have flung mud only for it to come out that they aren't Robins!
I’ve asked them for proof on their Twitter - no reply yet. Must have some idea, though, to accuse us. You’d think, anyway.

I hope he doesn’t go to Wolves. Just don’t like them. The most forgettable and pointless of all the current Premier League teams. Nothing interesting about them at all.
