Imagine if they’d waited this long, then tweeted an image of the Luton website saying “Thanks for telling us.”

Have they told us?

Quiz question: Who was the last player Bristol City signed permanently from Wycombe Wanderers?
COYR.
Betsy?

Live near Wycombe, so have seen him a few times. Like him, good with his feet and can pick a pass. David Noble-esque, dare I say.

Could a best case end up being - he goes to Bournemouth, bangs in a few goals whilst they go down, then a bigger club pick him up this summer and we feast on the sell-on too?
Or, to answer my own question. Could that be a worst case?
Say he goes to another club for £14m.
We’d get at best 40% of profit, so circa £2.2m, but miss out on all these add on clauses for appearances and so on.

Had a brief conversation with a Bodo/Glimt fan on Twitter. Reckons he’s an excellent ball player, good on 1 on 1s. Compared him to David Raya. Left because he wanted the challenge of playing in UK.

I am not seeing anything at this point to suggest there are any other clubs interested although, of course, still a week to go and things could change.
More than happy if he stays but I have a small concern about how he will react to losing out, at least for the moment, on the widely reported £50k per week.
There always is the possibility that he and his agent decide to sit tight and he walks for nothing in 18 months and straight into the alleged £50k per week plus a huge signing on fee.
That is a long way off and lots can change between now and then but it is a possibility.
Strong possibility I reckon, given clubs seem to be making their minds up earlier about sitting players in the last year of their contracts if they’re not signing.
The summer could be a really difficult one.

If we had money, or got money from a Semenyo sale, then Cooper at Plymouth would be incredible. Appreciate he’s out of our league as things stand.
-
Wonder if we’ll regret turning down £10m.
Doesn’t seem to be a long queue of clubs hammering down our door for him, but there may well be when his contract is nearer the end.
Hope this doesn’t turn into a Maynard situation.

My audio has just started.

Anyone’s audio started yet?

Just as a devils advocate thought.
As well as consultancy at Palace, he’s been a consultant at Wycombe since start of the season - leaves on Jan 20th.
If we did jettison Nige at one point soon, has Gareth Ainsworth just gone up in the betting?
I live just down the road from Wycombe. I’d love Ainsworth here, but can’t see it. The club is built in Ainsworth’s image, he can do anything he wants and is the absolute main man. Can’t see him giving it up for anything, really, think he’ll be there until he wants to pack it all in and retire.

I’ll give a serious answer - Mark Shail.
Joined from Conference side Yeovil whilst we were in Division 1. Similar to Wilson, didn’t play many games to start with, but went on to be a regular before injuries hit.

Paul Hartley joining us from Celtic. I mean, that’s a step up from League two level competition, isn’t it?

That was Andy Davies I think. The one that didn`t give the blatant foul on Alex Scott?
Fair enough. I’m sure I recognise the name from somewhere.

Ref for the Birmingham game is James Linington. Isn’t he the one from QPR last season? Didn’t know this game was being played on the Downs.

All down to Sky I think. They like to split the programme now so they can have live games on both nights but don`t want to decide which ones too early on.
Sure I’ve heard it’s Nigel’s preference - split the middle between two Saturday games, equal rest each side, rather than rushing for a Tuesday match.
May be wrong though.

I don’t think he’ll start until after the international break. If we start him on Saturday, that’s sending a message to the Ghana manager that he’s ready to start games.
As @marcofisher said above, Pearson’s been very vocal about how he wants Ghana to ease Semenyo back in. Can’t see him doing anything that would jeopardise that.

I was being somewhat tongue in cheek, but absolutely. At a guess it is Wells at the moment, one day we might find out!
I reckon it’s Massengo. Imagine the cheer if we get one and he scores his first goal from it.

I sat in the Dolman last night, and was relieved to see that they don’t run in front of the Lansdown.
Have previously sat in lower Lansdown and lower South Stand and have found them incredibly bright, off putting and that they make it hard to pick out the players. I’m sure it’s to do with the angles, lower you are, the worse it is.
It must be a consideration for the players at times.
Stolen World Cup trophy

Allegedly, a replica World Cup trophy was stolen by City fans from Sunderland’s Fans Museum.
Let’s get it back to them. Anyone know these muppets? (Even if “MarkaMackem could have been a bit calmer )
