  1. Could this be the beginning of a spectacular implode for Ipswich? If so, I hope Ashton spends recklessly/wastefully as they attempt to buy their way out of trouble/freefrall and gets them into the same sh*t that he got us into. Never had a real problem with Ipswich before, but I do now, and will until Ashton goes elsewhere.
  2. Get over it Rosenior. "Barman, when you're ready . . . a gin and bitter liam for my friend"
  3. " ok! i will get my coat! " is a great way to end your song, but doesn't make sense. Come to think of it, "Song for the oldies" is an odd opening line too.
  4. Hope someone finds this ring (sees Andrew's message) and does the right thing. Let's spread the word.
  5. And we're sticking them in the back of the net ! Who'd have thought?
  6. Not a patch on Rosenior Senior.
  7. Really pleased to get that win. Don't mind how we get the points as long as we keep bagging them. Especially pleased to see Mehmeti and Knight on the scoresheet. Nice to have a stress-free weekend. Have a good Christmas and drink up thy zyder, for tonight we'll merry be !
  8. I suspect people with see right through them. Doesn't have a ghost of chance? Could this be why Richard Ghould left?
  9. Are there branches of Senior Reds in Spanish-speaking countries?
  10. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink @Galley is our king Say no more.
  11. This ain't going to end well. It's likely some poster will end up calling another a bell end.
  12. For me, and probably most City fans, given we are in the Championship, I am certain the definition of success is plain and simple. Promotion. By the end of next season at the latest. The very same measure of success that I had for Pearson (realistic or not). A play-off spot would not be success. It would certainly be a major achievement and milestone, but, if it didn't bring promotion, it would not merit success. After achieving promotion, the definition of success would, clearly, be something different. Above I have stated clearly and precisely, what for me, with the Lansdowns/Tinnion/Manning at the helm, would constitute success. I still await a specific, concise definition of success under Manning, including a precise (non-movable) timescale, from anyone that supports the Lansdowns' readiness to undermine and sabotage a popular, experienced and respected manager and eventually remove him on some false pretext. I hope they spare me the usual "Manning needs at least 3/4/5 windows" and other such lame excuses. The bigger picture of where we are going @Ghost Rider will be back where we came from, unless/until we collectively agree that only promotion constitutes success and set a firmly fixed deadline for that.
  13. Fine. Time will tell if you're willing to embrace being proved wrong. In the meantime, is there any way of transferring this virtue to Messrs Lansdown and Tinnion? With regard to Harvard. In my opinion, academics at that place and other such pompous establishments, are grossly over-rated and should definitely not be revered. Bit like politicians.
  14. See, that's the issue. Pearson didn't move on. He was ousted unfairly, and treated badly. If that wasn't the case, people wouldn't keep banging on about it and lambasting the inept Lansdowns. Because, unless the Lansdowns are held to account, what happened to Pearson, just as easliy happen to Manning as soon as the Lansdowns consider he is stepping out of line. So, if you want to focus on the future, let's do that. Step one: Let's think how we can get rid of the Lansdowns, because after sufficent time in control, they have demonstrated that they cannot deliver success.
  15. Slightly off topic, but how about Mark is a rat, Ashton is a snake.
  16. Love his willingness to drive forward towards the box and shoot (with power) from distance.
  17. Max max'd out today with that peak performance. You could say he played a Peaky Blinder.
  18. Three more welcome points. Don't care how we get them, as long as we get them. Makes me even happier to hear the opposition's fans say we didn't deserve them.
