No Expectations nowadays, mostly down to the recent reset, when the board needed to be a bit more patient and let the previous manager continue building (after tidying up the previous mess...)
Hopes = to see our team run out on the 1st day of our premier league debut at Ashton Gate against Arsenal and beat them 1 nil, like we did in 1976 at Highbury. Then become a top flight club for longer than 4 seasons.

I think this is a fantastic initiative but it would be great to bring it to 'real life' with a museum rather than just holding stuff in a digital format.
Although, they are not having my merchandise from my recent mancave project

Personally, I can't thank the Lansdowns enough for what they have done since they became proud owners of OUR club, but do we need a new owner? Is it the right time to part company? if 1) we can find the right investor? And 2) if Steve can let it go?
They always say, 'be careful what you wish for' but as fans, we continue to experience the same, a repeating process that never changes. It's absolutely mental, that it was 1976, the last year that we were promoted to the top flight of English Football.
No matter how big your 'city is', there is no given right to reach the promised land and some clubs don't even want to get there (of course, the owners of those clubs would never admit that). Its a bloody expensive investment but at the same time, it's a financially rewarding one.
We are currently shopping in Ireland, Scotland, Belgium etc, League 1 and 2 and have a young manager who has experience in academies and Tier 3 football management.

What like Kieffer Moore (just gone to Ipswich) or Famara Diedhiou (just joined Cardiff)? You couldn’t make it up!

Who said on Radio Bristol it’s all about the summer now and planning for that. Great!
I heard that. A strong number 9 in the summer..he said it quite a few times

It’s incredibly frustrating that commentary on tonight has reverted to Liam Manning v Nigel Pearson.
This has nothing to do with which camp you are in. It’s just the observation that the team performed crap tonight (Max O Leary aside) and the weakest performance unfortunately was from the manager.
That has nothing to do with Nigel Pearson and by calling it out is not harking back to a love affair with the predecessor. This ain’t the time for comparing records or calling out the board, I think it’s the time for calling out ‘Manning you lost us 3 points tonight for setting us up very poorly and not having the nouse to change it’.
it’s not about harking back to the past, it’s about being concerned for the future now.
Bang on. I've quoted this previously. It isn't about Nige or Liam loving. It's what the board said when making the change that irritates me claiming that we were top end challengers this season.

I know he’s saved us on other games. I rate Max a lot. That wasn’t my point though
It wasn’t that many.
Yeh, I got that wrong mate, 1.28PPG apparently, still going in the wrong direction mind, especially after the board quoted 'top end' squad.

Incorrect. Pearson had 14 league games....20 points ...1.42PPG
Fleming 1 game = 3PPG
Manning 15 Games, 17 Points = 1.13PPG
Got it wrong again Dad @Numero Uno

No, 18 points then Fleming got a win in game 15 to get us to 21. Add Mannings 17 points and we are at 38.
Good spot mate

Under Pearson we were averaging 1.29 PPG this season, under Manning we are averaging 1.21.
That's basically one more win over the course of a season under Pearson. So we've not regressed nor have we improved, we've stayed where we were.
We're on to finish with 59/60 points at the end of the season, so absolutely 0 progress from last season as things stand!

I just think @Tomo that if Manning is so bad then criticise him but if he is that bad then you shouldn’t have to make stuff up like it’s relegation form as you should have enough ammunition anyway
Mate, it's not far off relegation form. Don't get picky
In 2 games time, it won't be far off.
At the end of the day, we are not going in the right direction.

Yeah they have. It’s just not relegation form. Close to it for sure. Fine lines though as always. If Max doesn’t make that error Tuesday then the record is about the same I’d guess
I think we were on 1.4PPG when the change was made, so not that close really....

I’ve checked last 8 seasons and 52 has never been relegation. Usually around 18th
We lose to Boro and Southampton, and we are 1PPG. I am stunned that you are trying to defend the current form?

52 points over a season. Not often that gets a team relegated.
Granted, but Charlton went down a few seasons ago on 48, so it's fairly close to it.
The side have performed worse in terms of points attained since the change of style. Simples.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with a point against Coventry tonight...
Let's see where we are in a month's time....
17 from 15 now = 1.13PPG

Always like listening to Liam (and want him to succeed). Although, I am getting tired of hearing about 'time on the grass'....apparently it's only been 12 or 13 times since he arrived.
Get on with it. Same fixture schedule for everyone and let's remember 'one' of the reasons the board sacked the previous manager was an accusation of a 'lack of grass time' (more for health reasons I assume). Don't shout to loud Liam about a lack of grass time and crack on

Any word on Bird?
Is he likely to be a Robin and then fly back to Derby?
Disappointing window for me as mentioned.

Scottish apparently....according to my son. Sorry, but I can't get excited about our business but it's what I expected. We will support the lads coming in of course.

A big message to the fans. An under 21 English failure on loan from the Big Belgium League and a loan back to Derby in Max Bird....16th position beckons mate.

My son may not agree with you Graham.
Here are some more upto date shirts that have been made, which were worn by my son. I collected them these evening and they are now ready to display in his room.
He will be buzzing in the morning...
Making Memories...that he will remember, just like I did back in the day.

Purely as a fan, what is your expectation / hope for City?

Great topic by the way. I will throw something in to keep this going...
Question...
Will Bristol City get promoted to the Premier League (under Lansdown Family) by 2035? A simple yes or no or an educated percentage guess...
I'm going 65% chance...
