I believe RR was treated to an enforced holiday period to cool off and reflect.
Good to have him back. Just don't mention Angela Rayner.
I missed this, can you tell me what happened?
I'd been wondering where he was...!

"is not"
Quite. The "cos" and the "ain't" were deliberate, for ironic contrast.

On the subject of confusion…I’m pretty sure his name isn’t Brendan
As far as I can work out, it's either Tony or Anthony

And we didn’t get promoted with Darren did we. If we would have bought a decent striker in January to help out byfield and adebola it might have been different.
I would love to know if semenyo thinks he’s a striker?
His touch is shocking, but dribbling he looks a real threat. He doesn’t shoot enough either for a striker.
Nothing personal Spoons; but I simply cannot stand by any longer whilst I watch this beloved forum of ours decline irretrievably into grammatical turpitude.
There is, and always has been, a perfectly good English usage here which is increasingly being replaced by this cretinous Americanism, and that is "had". "If we had..." You see? It's shorter, clearer, and has always been seen in our mother tongue until quite recently. Not "if we would have...", please!
I trust I can count on the support of all forum users to help eradicate this nonsense from these shores.
Cheers, HNY, and FTG

So many people on coke, always wondered what it’s like. Presumably quite good if it’s that popular?

He should be top….am I missing something?
Weimann has 9 goals from 37 shots (24%)
Yes he should if your figures are correct, which I don't doubt - but even if the tweet was correct that he's on 24%, well that's the same as Powell and Weimann, and yet he's 2nd whilst they are joint 3rd...was my original point.

According to Wyscout he has 10 league goals from 29 shots, of which 16 have been on target….so he’s 34% according to Wyscout.
Makes even less sense then!

As long as we're leading by enough goals for chants not to backfire on us, I think a couple of rounds of 'Deano's chinos' would be awesome. Perhaps s82 can do the 'Deano's' and the Dolman/Rest of South Stand can do 'Chino's'. It would be doubly amazing if he happened to be wearing them.
Who's going to tell him...?

Agreed, a couple of lines always picks me up when I'm feeling low.

Long one of my favourite words, ever since I read it in the Gormenghast trilogy.

Could say the same about Lansdown.
Lovely ground that we cannot win in, and a High Performance Centre for mediocre performers.
Just forgot to appoint managers or CEO’s who could get a team on the pitch or keep valuable assets at the club.
So what you are saying is..."ground, ground, ground, and we forgot about the team"?

Matty James has really gone backwards since his good early season games. Can't see what he contributed in that half or on saturday. Doesn't tackle, doesn't run with the ball and doesn't pass forward.

I don't mind this line up at all if it is 352. A decent game by Bakinson on Saturday. We should be able to pass the ball with the back 3 all being comfortable on the ball, Atkinson could really advance a lot in that wide centre back position of the 3. Midfield double pivot and wing backs all very comfortable on the ball.
With all due respect as probably one of the more astute tacticians and deep thinkers about the beautiful game on this forum, isn't it high time that you changed your user name to "Double Pivot"?
