First thing that popped into my head was................Well He would say that wouldn't he? Just toeing the party line, and making sure nothing controversial was said, and making sure his boss was happy? I like Tinns, but he is a bit too obsequious for my liking, at times?

This club is going backwards. Disappointing.
Haven't you herd about our "Tremendous potential?" & "A Premiership club in waiting" Considering we have owned those opinion's for 20 years?

Yep, much prefer to see the likes of Leeds in the Prem than ******* Bournemouth or Luton.
Ha! Bournemouth would bury this Leeds side!

The only appropriate expression i can think of is.....................Embarrassing? A Sky audience must be thinking,............ Bristol City?, what a bunch of Overrated pussies?

I really hope that i lose........but this match looked so predictable? Backed 0-1 and 0-2 on Betfair. We are just so very weak upfront, hoping the perceived inevitability is completely wrong??

Friday night, winter, live on sky, Any genuine loyal Leeds fan should have been able to get a ticket. If you’re having to sit in home ends all the time, that doesn’t say much about your loyalty to the club. You feel the need to come on here and tell us you’re sat in our end; not to be respectful and open dialogue about the game but to try and boast about how massive you are. I can see right through it. I hope you have a throughly miserable evening. COYR!!!!
Leave the poor bloke alone, and get over yourself.....would be my advice?

Bristol are a dirty team of cloggers and the fact it's been moved to a Friday night for SKY fiils me with non optimism. Hope I'm wrong!
No change there then, Swannie. No doubt the referee will turn a blind eye once again.
I watched them on TV a few days ago and commented on here that they were the dirtiest team I'd seen this season. I think it was v Wet Spam Disgraceful tactics
I presume the mot in the forum stands for "Misinformed Outraged Tosser ?

Hi
Sorry to hear you have signed Max, Jason knight was a good player who gives 100 percent every game.Max is poor, doesn’t do much in a game and when he does the pass is either square or backwards, very few Derby fans sorry he’s gone.
Hope it works out for him and yourselves but will be very surprised if it does.Envy and frustration are no way to deal with this? Off you go now into the nearest pub and cry some bitter tears of regret into your pint?

You, as much as anyone should know that Nigel didn't actually sign the large majority of those players. They would have been ones the club had been watching for a while and who's names would have been put forward to Nigel as possible signings if he wanted them. No way did he personally scout them and insist on signing them.
In the same way the Manning was brought in as Head Coach so should have even less of a say over players brought in. Surely his remit is to coach the players presented to him and pick the team on a match day. In the same way that Swansea worked for years, the Head Coach is only there to maintain the style of play adopted by the club and improve players within that framework.
So LM has no say who get's signed? I think you will find that his strategy is to bring in player's who will contribute and fit in to the style of tactics and formation that he intends to adopt, as can be clearly seen from the type of footballer who he is gradually recruiting? To do otherwise, would be similar to a blind man throwing darts at a non-exsistent dartboard........ completely pointless?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any chance the Seagull is Nige (or a close friend or relative)?
I honestly think if we had signed Erling Haaland and/or Kevin de Bruyne on loan that would be wrong in some posters' views:
- because Nige wasn't given those funds;
- because they won't be our player when the loan expires;
- because they won't fit in with the Liam Manning/Brian Tinnion [delete whichever suits your argument] style of play;
- because they will block the pathway of a wunderkind playing for our under 16s;
- because Manning inherited a "top 6 squad" and therefore doesn't need any new signings;
- because it's inconsistent with some random off-the-cuff comment from Tinnion or a Lansdown that the poster will remember and hold them to for ever and ever;
- because some or all of the above means WE WERE LIED TO;
- or lots of similar reasons but you get the gist
Perhaps the Seagull should stick to nicking unwary tourist's Chips on the Grand Pier?

A weird one on every level
We pay a fee for a player we could get for free in the summer and then loan him back so he doesn't even play for us in the period he's cost so much? WTF, monumental waste of money and don't forget 5 months ago, I am sure we were one attacking midfielder away from a play off challenging team. Pearson denied the money.
From the players perspective Derby could get promoted and then he has to leave his boyhood team of 13 years?
WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD
Only winners are Derby here
You just don't get do you? It's a really slamming bit of business.

I love out of the blue (Sky Blue?) signings that no one including Ian knew about...............Out of left field, young, fast and with a Premier League background. I like it? Anyway next summer is when our real business will be done, with Tommy leaving a new striker coming in, so enjoy?

Indeed. Especially when the sample size is so small.
PPG is such a crude measure over a small sample because it’s highly dependent on who you’ve played.
It’s a mixed bag for Manning so far, but it was Pearson too - and he is implementing his own style while also not having bought any of his own players yet. The guy needs patience and time, it isn’t his fault what happened to Pearson, and at this stage I’d say PPG isn’t a very valuable metric.
Exactly............how can Pearson and Manning be precisely compared when one manager has had no real chance to bring in his own choice of player and the very same one has been here for a period of around 10% of the others tenure? It's far too early for any direct comparison, apart from knee jerk rantings?

No, I also have a friend................who"s source told another source, who met a source, and that source reckons it will around 6 months?

George will probably scream at the mere mention of Bristol City. He fractured his ankle during his debut of what was meant to be a 3-month loan spell. And he wasn't the only one. We seemed to make a habit of breaking loanees.
Who was that East european....Russian? A big unit Centre forward who was crocked on his debut for us, after signing on loan? He lasted about 30 minutes......... I can't remember his name?
