Great delivery to Pope. Could do with these two staying in for 20 overs at least
-
Poor drop. Should take that 7-8 times out of 10
-
Back to the opener conveyor belt for the next one please
-
Surely a big innings for Creepy

This team could be bowled out easily. Might be a struggle for NZ being a bowler light,
Bowler light, on this pitch, with only one new ball. Would be our worst collapse of all time to lose from here. Most of NZ wickets were them getting themselves out. Would hope that the mentality is good enough now under the new captain and coach to not lose from here.

Hard to see anything but a draw here
-
If I was Stokes I’d bowl Yorkers but it’s up to him I guess!
-
Really nice guy. Hope he’s having okay soon.

Leach bowls as many bad balls as a wrist spinner without turning it as much. Ian Salisbury without the turn.
-
Still not seen anything to suggest England can lose this other than the worst batting collapse of all time.

There’s little point in picking Leach. Clearly not good enough. Should really only play again if we pick 2 spinners

It's only Day 4. They could easily score 280 today and leave us to bat out day 5
Guess we will see. Can’t see them bowling us out in one day on this pitch. Easy to bat on after 20 overs. I’d be very surprised if they set England 280 to win and 90 overs to do it in. Bookies have got NZ at 7/1 to win, clear outsiders and that must be because of time left in this match. If they win from here then fair play to them

Of course they still could.
I can’t see them winning. Not enough time left to score the runs, declare and bowl us out. They won’t set England 4 an over to win.
-
If they aren’t at least 3 down by tea then it’s a draw I reckon. Probably need 4 by then. Won’t be due another new ball until it’s too late.
-
England will be happy with this mornings batting. Scored quickly. Losing wickets pretty irrelevant. Only one team can win from here and it’s not NZ. Draw is the likely outcome obviously

So many fake quotes attributed to Keane. No evidence at all to say he’s ever said those words. Just because someone’s face is next to some words doesn’t mean they said it!

So pleased for Pope. Seems like a sound guy. Secured his place for a while now.

Purchasing smells like a back 5 to me

The damage is already mostly done
We won’t get a points deduction so clearly it has been reversible. Which is why I said it would be further mismanagement if we were to get one.

Nearly gave up and went home. So glad I stayed!

What if we have a situation again where Weimann and Semenyo get injured. We relied heavily on their goals last season. I don’t think Conway, Bell etc could contribute that amount of goals. And we don’t have anyone in the Martin mold.
Not sure how we would sign players to be back ups that would only be needed if 2 players got injured, that are better than our youngsters and that wouldn’t be a waste of a wage. Next season isn’t a push for the play offs, it’s a building job so need to give Conway and the likes some chance and not make them 6th choice

We don't
We have Wells still
Wienman who got 20
Martin who go 10
Semenyo who got 12
We have Henry Conwy, Bell, chomping at the bit in the under 23s
Striker is the one position we are overly stacked in
Naismith as well can play wide right if we play 3 up front

We defo need a back up striker aswell. Someone to compete with Martin cause he can’t play all season. And if injury’s occur.
I don’t know if we will sign one unless we sell Wells. We have Conway who can step up
