  1. Port Vale more aggressive and 1st to every ball. Playing it like a cup game and succeeding
  2. Unless you have a family member who supports a random club or local team and they take you it's very easy to get sucked into success especially as a child. It's just the way it is, City need to be more successful to make kids and randomers take an interest in the club unfortunately
  3. Exactly. We're Bristol City fans, does it really matter if any of us want an English side to win a European cup? I really don't care about the local glory hunters, they never bother me as long as they don't disrespect people for supporting their local club
  4. Clarke proving so far he is a very good manager at that level. Fair play to him
  5. Lee Matthews is his agent apparently, incredible work from Lee
  6. Too busy playing the likes of Altrincham and losing to York in the conference playoffs at the time to remember
  7. They're quite clearly upset one of their best players has left them to a rival club, we'd be the same. They are incorrect on the last paragraph though, we finished 4th once upon a time, maybe when they were stuck in the non league. We never sign in demand Championship players for free so rightfully we are happy
  8. Blimey. That is great business by City
  9. The domestic game in Italy has largely been dominated by Juventus, Milan and Inter. Roma have had a couple of years here and there (80s and 00s) where they have challenged for titles and won titles but it seems it is not sustainable in the long run to compete with the big 3. I loved their Serie A winning side in 2000-01, had some fantastic players (Batistuta, Cafu, Totti)
  10. Smalling has been playing like prime Baresi or Maldini
  11. Glad to see Tomori get a call up. Long awaited and fully deserved
  12. Pretty much how I was left feeling. It was gutting but at the same time felt proud of that team. The Brighton defeat was a shocker and their fans were not as classy as Hull's fans that day. Easily my worst day as a City fan, we just didn't turn up, gutting.
  13. Not forgetting losing to Plymouth and Cardiff too
  14. If It's England you are comparing with Scotland then it's not a fair comparison as England has a much larger population
  15. Probably had a skinful, but comes across a bit bitter. Just celebrate your team's win. Reminds me of Rovers fans chanting about us as soon as they win promotion
  16. I'm all for celebrating your team's win, no problem with that but he has come across like a gobsh*te recently, but then it again, it's Liam Gallagher. Absolutely zero class, it's what I hate about football and social media
  17. To me it shows it's a crap rivalry. Same can be said for Merseyside derby.
  18. My conclusion is that the Manchester derby is no longer a rivalry, seeing as they all just support Man City now. I could never want to see Rovers do well
  19. That was the worst I have seen Liverpool all season that first 80 minutes. Leggy, no discipline, all over the place. I have a feeling Real Madrid will do 'em
  20. How do some of you view how Burnley will do next season? I can see them selling a lot of players.
  21. They're a great team, thought they were poor today. Man City definitely the best over the course of the season and they did well to stay with them the whole way. If they win the CL next week i'm sure they won't be too bothered with 3 trophies
  22. Palace 1-0 Man Utd. Big job there for new manager. Still hilarious how crap they are now
