How are we losing
-
Same can be the said for Diedhiou, a player who gave up putting in any effort at the back end of 2020/21 season and cost us nearly 6 million. Compare him to Martin's attitude and its chalk and cheese. Give me 11 players who will put in everything on limited talent than 11 talented players who have crap attitude any day of the week.
-
Be a shame if Alex Neil goes to Stoke. We'd have to watch another one of his sides ****house a win against us at AG.
-
Numerous times I saw Derby on Sky towards the end of his career there and they would bring Martin on from the 80th minute who would cause absolute chaos. Unfortunately he isn't a glamorous striker like Semenyo or Wells so many of our fans just call him all sorts. He's effective at what he does at this level.
-
I think the disrespect towards Martin from our fanbase is a total injustice. The man scored 12 goals last season. 1 goal shy of Fam's best season for us. Martin at this level has been consistent for years, he's not a prolific goalscorer, but he's a battering ram and does all the ugly work and is not easy on the eye. He was perfect foil for Weimann and Semenyo last season.

Thought we did very well against quite a physical side. Controlled that 2nd half superbly. Alex Scott is some player -

Results going well: It's the players and manager Results going badly: It's them bloody Glazers

One thing I have noticed from Naismith is he is absolutely brilliant at stepping infront of the forward. Reads the game very well. Atkinson has been great the last few games and often the right wingers switch sides after a while when they notice they're finding it hard to get the better of him and Dasilva. Unfortunately Vyner is our weakness and can be exploited by better players, he's done ok the last few games but it is our obvious weakness we have at the back. I'd like to see Kalas back in the side when he's fit.

Remember When Some Wanted to Scrap the Academy?

That's the impression i've had from a lot of our youngsters who've 'made it' from Bobby Reid, Cole Skuse and Joe Bryan to the current crop they all have good attitudes and a good mentality. No big timers or massive ego's around the place. The one thing that's impressed me most with Alex Scott is his lack of fear and getting stuck in, some talented youngsters would just shirk from it and think it beneath them. -
Can't wait for Semenyo to come back. He adds another dimension to our attack. Think we'd maybe have added a 3rd or 4th if he plays today. His athleticism is something the other attackers do not have. Conway has been great, but there will come a time when he has a dip and that is when you need the rest to step up.
-
Ok the first half, just about edged it I think, missed Scott being in the middle a little. 2nd half Cardiff started well, but we got stuck into them a bit more, battled well and then started outplaying them. 2nd half was Luton mk2 with the pressing and the outstanding tackles from Scott, Williams and Massengo. This side has slowly transitioned under NP from a side who could barely muster a shot on target most weeks to a team who have 4 or 5 players who could easily get double figures at this level. Got to hand it to the team, after two defeats to start we've bounced back rather well and probably say a decent start to the season. We look better than last season and stilll have Kalas and Semenyo to return.

Oh dear the mask has slipped AJ

Totally agree. Never sure if it was because I am not from Bristol, but Wiltshire as a reason why I have never seen Cardiff as a 'derby'. Our cringeworthy media department ram it down our throats. Don't care if it's Cardiff, playing them is like playing any other club to me. My must not lose games are two teams - Rovers and Swindon, it's just they're both crap nowadays and we never play them
-
They didn't look good. I think they looked toothless if anything, no goal threat at all, their strikers looked League 1 standard. We pressed them very well, they then reverted to diagonals after 20 minutes, could be a long season for them. 1 goal in 4 games for them
-
I'm also annoyed with Swansea taking our limelight by conceding two goals in the last minute to draw. That's what we do
