  1. Pompey my dark horses this season in L1. They have 4 very good strikers for League 1. I Think they'll comfortably beat Rovers Saturday
  2. If you can't enjoy that tonight then may as well give up going. Thought Luton were toothless if anything and were just totally 2nd best in Midfield as Han and Scott played so well. Osho looked a decent player for them. We were good for the 90 tonight and 2-0 flattered Luton
  3. Fair play, he and Alex Scott were outstanding tonight, the Luton Midfield couldn't get near the pair of them
  4. That was probably the worst refereeing display I have ever seen at a football match
  5. If you ever watch European football you realise how BAD our officials are from the top to bottom. Most of them just don't even understand the game
  6. Ian adds to the pod imo. Be boring without him and his outspoken views on basically everything ? If people have an issue with what someone says so much why don't they join the pod?

Yep should have been more pragmatic, like Preston were when they got promoted at the same time us as and I guess financially are in a much better position than we are currently because they didn't spend willy nilly for years after and were solid All the players Cotts signed in Summer of 2015 were decent, he should have just changed our shape and protected our obvious weak back line.

In theory his signings for 15/16 were actually decent - Kodjia and 3 loan signings of Fredericks, Robinson and Baker. Fredericks was actually a good signing and Robinson should have been given a chance here. Cotts couldn't adapt his 352 from League 1 into Championship and his refusal to change the formation was his undoing.

Such a farce the amount of money spent and wasted. We had a refurbed stadium, newly promoted in 15/16, had momentum. A great cup run and where did we end up? Back where we always do in this League, struggling and behind the rest. We backed the wrong horses (LJ and MA). Like I have said, Pearson could get more from this side, I question his selections and tactics, however sacking him right now just puts a plaster over a sinking ship in the long run and there is no doubt we'd go for the predictable and obvious cheap appointment.

I'll be kind and say Brownhill, Diedhiou (which we overspent on imo), Paterson (arguably), Webster. No wonder Lansdown came out in 18/19 on a fans forum and said he expects play offs after the amount of wasted money that was spent in that era. 8th with lots of money spent and 17th on frees under Pearson, yet people are blaming Pearson for it all

Adam Matthews, Hörður Magnússon, Callum O'Dowda, Jens Hegeler, Matty Taylor, Gustav Engvall, Ivan Lucic, Taylor Moore, Fabian Giefer, Bailey Wright all in his first full season for starters. Then you have Mo Eisa, Kasey Palmer, Hakeeb Adelakun, Sammie Szmodics all paid on big money who barely did anything for us who want for pretty much nothing. Both LJ AND Ashton spent the lot and are the reason we are in this FFP mess in the first place they both collectively shoulder that blame. The money was spent on crap because the highest we got was 8th - which still aint good enough
  12. Actually think they have a good Manager but the players won't listen to him, because some of the ego's there are through the roof, their attitudes are shocking for players who play for that club. They need a huge overhaul from top to bottom which will take years. At least when Liverpool fell from grace they were at least competing, this United lot look a way off and disinterested. Gary Neville is a fine one to talk about poor ownership and backing managers as well when his Salford lot have got rid of 4 in the last few years I'm loving it to be honest, I couldn't stand seeing them win absolutely everything as a kid. They have been well and truly humbled

It's a real difficult one really as quite clearly we are struggling in the transfer department due to balancing the books and towing FFP rules. Do I think though that another Manager could get the best of this side? Possibly, do I think that another decent Manager would want to come to us knowing the financial contraints? Probably not. It's all good comparing to LJ but LJ is partly the reason why we are in this FFP mess by spending all the buck's Lansdown had on average players. Pearson would love that money right now, but he can't. A formation change is necessary imo and dropping Martin for a few games would make a difference to the side. I can't ever see this team doing well in a 352 as it is.
  14. I think it might have been a dig at BS3 Talk which I think was the club's official pod?
  15. Still a good listen imo, it's not healthy if you can't listen to people you disagree with for different angles. Just sort Mark's mic out though please as I can't hear a word he says

Couldn't disagree more. We're partly in this position because of the silly spending he made on players who made us worse. Pearson would have loved the money to spend that LJ had
  17. Hahahahaha arrogant *******
  18. I mean it's a point, but still concerned about how soft we are so far this season. Need a W on Tuesday
  19. It's very strange, if it works then i'm happy to get pelters later on if we get a good result, but I am starting to question some of his selections.
  20. Worried that side could get bullied in the middle and the right hand side looks weak.
