  1. Shame Leeds will survive. At least we wont see them batter us twice like they always seem to do
  2. Elsewhere, AC Milan cruising to a first Serie A title since 2011 winning 3-0 at Sassuolo. Good to see Juventus not win the League for a couple of years now
  3. Nah. Seeing Fergie's red whisky filled face have the title swiped away from him in the 96th minute was pure poetry
  4. Man City deserve the title imo
  5. How bad have Liverpool been though? Woeful
  6. I think this is why the Prem is the hardest trophy to win. It's unbelievable, really is
  7. Wow this is unbelievable
  8. Maybe , i'm late 20s. Grew up with Man Utd winning everything and their chavy horrible fans bullying everyone else. Especially fans of clubs like ours
  9. The obsessive hate of Liverpool makes me want them to win it ? Not even the most unbarable big club in the Country in my eyes (Man Utd)
  10. Man Utd in the conference league would be fantastic
  11. This is why Real Madrid were desperate for the Super League. Both they and Barcelona are slowly losing out to the Premier League clubs and PSG. They cannot stomach seeing it either. It will always be why I want English sides to do well in Europe, because Real and Barca are so bitter, and yet they complain other clubs are run by entire Countries, do me a favour, they're fine ones to talk. It's a shame our 'big 6' were blindfolded by the offerings of the Super League though. I hope Liverpool smash Real Madrid and that might upset a few of the Liverpool haters
  12. Champions League for Champions of the League's only. Also makes Europa League more of a valuable competition to win for 2nd/3rd placed sides. The World Cup needs to stay at 32 teams. In 2026 it's going to be 48 and imo it devalues the competition. Same as the Euros - Needs to return to 16 sides. The silly rule that an offside is only flagged until the player touches the ball. I am shocked it hasn't caused injuries. Also ball boys around the pitch all having a ball like they did back in the day, would make the game quicker and discourages time wasting
  13. Not enough quality from Wycombe so far. Sunderland would need to sign a fair few to compete in Championship too. City would have a good chance of beating both of these
  14. I feel for your current situation in China, a horrible dictator indeed... On with the game
  15. Maybe don't laugh and mock Brexiteers and be a snidey little **** then. You labelled Rangers fans as far right the other day and numerous posts mocking people who voted a certain way. Tit for tat i'm afraid.
  16. On 2nd thoughts, keeper has had a mare there
  17. Probably all Brexiteers I expect, I worry for the players out there today
  18. They are losers that's why. Cannot accept that other people have different opinions to their own. Anyway on to today. Wycombe will win this one, but yes Sunderland are indeed Massive.

    RIP Tinners

RIP. Can't say I knew him but I have seen him quite often at home and away games, never caused any trouble, always had people around him. Obviously City through and through which was the main thing, sad to hear he has passed. CTID
  20. The decline was the fact we went from playing high tempo, passing football during the first half of 07/08, to then lumping it long from the end of 07/08 til the end of Gary's reign. Even players have alluded to this who played in that squad, it was after we signed Adebola. He was responsible for getting in Nyatanga on a long contract who was a poor signing, failing to get the best out of natural flair/talent (David Noble and Lee Trundle). He also signed David Clarkson who I cannot believe to this day was worth £800,000. We were on a downward spiral, and Johnson had lost the trust of the players, he had to go and was rightfully sacked. Our downward spiral sped up massively though when Coppell walked out after 2 games, which made the end of GJ's reign look better than it actually was. It was boring
  21. I don't know about that. After the 2008 play off final, we went on a bit of a downward spiral, and the signings made (Maynard aside) were largely pretty poor. Gary contributed to our decline in the early 2010s, again not forgetting he did a fantastic job before then for us. Also, lets not forget Dyche did only win 4 games this season out of 31 matches. I think they were going down with him in charge and yes I thought he did an excellent job for the club. If Burnley survive which I think is likely than not, then it will prove to be the right decision
  22. Fair enough, I wasn't around in 1990 to comment, but I just think it was something that was a 'thing' in Football a lot during the 70s, 80s and 90s. I don't think pitch invasions should be banned, can you imagine City finally reaching promotion to the top flight and us just having to stand there and clap our heroes? Sorry, just wouldn't happen would it. It would be pure jubilation on the ptich.
