  1. It's a Football game, bad language will be said and heard in the crowd. Don't watch it if it risks offending you, stop pandering to a massive minority of people.
  2. Yeah totally agree, we try to play football, but the players aren't comfortable with it or good enough at this level to do so, so then they start lumping it. The answer is, you ship those players out and get better footballers in to play that way, not justify it and bring in League 1 and League 2 lumps who will encourage that way of playing.
  3. I like FBC. It has its faults, they love a moan (Like all City fans), it's not perfect but it's raw and passionate City fans. Not scripted and a bit rough around the edges which for me makes it an interesting listen. But I am sick of hearing about average players like Jamille Matt and Matt Smith. They are not the answer.
  4. I'd say it's pretty pointless. You're just getting 'What have Bristol City ever done?' type remarks, very petty
  5. The funny thing is Ipswich fans think we're bitter and envious. We're not. We hated that bloke, he ruined the atmosphere around the club with his corporate mates and David Brent esque quotes. He was a toxic cancer on this club and delighted he has left us. I genuinely feel sorry for them, it's going to take City a few years to get rid of that atmosphere as I can still feel his awful stench lingers around our club. I feel sorry for Ipswich, I really do. Best of luck to them, they're going to need it.
  6. I'd imagine they go by AFC Bournemouth rather than just Bournemouth. It goes from Premier League and Championship in alphabetical order then to the rest in alphabetical order

He's actually a very good pundit on TalkSport before any of you get on your high horses, and yes I despised him when he was Crystal Palace chairman. He has matured a little.
  8. Kalas outstanding I thought also, has been going under the radar the last few weeks but I think he has been our best player
  9. Nearly cost us the game on countless occasions in that 2nd half. Just not good enough imo, not a lack of interest
  10. Unsure why Bakinson is getting hammered here, had a decent 1st half. If anyone should be criticised it was how poor Vyner was in the game today giving the ball away for fun and how pretty crap we were in the 2nd half as a team.
  11. You've just made things up that I haven't said. The News want to sell headlines and by making out in came near to deaths it certainly does sell and grab people's attention. I didn't say that the actions of a minority wasn't disgraceful, but I get the sense the News and the journalists just love this - another way to put down those god awful English football fans. You also mention the Scum, Daily Heil. I assume you mean The Sun and Daily Mail - Both I also ignore.
  12. Yeah, I totally believe everything The Guardian say - I bet the journos were delighted Italy won.

McCoist is the best of the best on co-comms and is worth watching a game to listen to his gleeful remarks alone. First heard him on Prime a few years ago I think Liverpool beat Everton at Anfield 5-2 and he was like a kid on the night before Christmas, a truly enjoyable listen.
  14. The best back 4 we've had since we were a top flight side I would say, far from spectacular as players but were good at defending - Especially Carey who was an excellent man marker.
  15. Swansea 0-1 City - Andi Weimann in August 2018 ... I'll stop now if i'm hogging the answers
  16. Brian Wilson banged one into the bottom corner from the edge of the area from what I recall
  17. City 1-0 Crystal Palace - December 2008. Maynard after 2 mins We were good under GJ at holding onto 1-0 leads it seems..
  18. Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 City - September 2007. Live on Sky
  19. City 1-0 Millwall - December 2006

They've played at the highest level of the Men's game and the impact of Gerrard, Rooney or Lampard going into a club would be much greater than appointing an unknown quantity. I don't even know why gender comes into it, the Men's game is totally different level to Women's, her credentials at the top of Women's football is probably on par to the National League of Men's. It's not fair to compare her to Gerrard when he played at top level Men's football for about 20 years and worked under some of the World's greatest managers, which he would have learned from. It isn't sexist against Emma Hayes to think she is not anywhere near ready for a job at the higher levels of the Men's game.

Prime is better than Sky and BT. Jon Champion, Peter Drury and Clive Tyldesley with Ally McCoist as a Co-commentator is absolutely worth watching and I watched both games last night (2nd half of Leeds vs Palace) and it is way better than the product Sky put out there, BT is ok for Champions League but poor for domestic football. I do think Carragher, Keane and Souness are excellent pundits on Sky but there is a part of me that thinks Sky encourage them to say controversial statements to get views on social media and to draw in viewers. Amazon a bit rough around the edges but feels less commercial than SKY or BT and much more pure. It is rather interesting to see how Soccer Saturday is now without Tommo, Le Tiss and Charlie Nicholas, I have to say I think it's a really poor listen/watch now and when Stelling leaves I'm unsure it will ever recover to the peak it hit about 10 years ago with the usual 5/6 being on the panel every Saturday. My preference of pundits will always be with the former footballers who played at the top of their game for an extended period of time (I often listen to John Giles, Liam Brady and Eamon Dunphy in Ireland) all are much more compelling to listen to than the soundbites you hear from ex players like Jamie O'Hara, Clinton Morrison, Trevor Sinclair and the like. I don't have a problem with Women being pundits on Men's football, but I am much more likely to listen to a Former Men's Pro who was at the top of their game for a long time.

Is it ironic Newcastle will get parachute payments if they get relegated
  23. Exactly, all we are is just the paying plebs who aren't allowed to have a negative opinion on anything regarding how the club operates, at the top and regarding performances on the pitch it seems a lot of the fans have accepted mediocrity for too long. I feel sorry for Pearson. He inherited a poor squad and we still have a pretty poor squad.
