I admit this is from memory when I last lived in London (years and years ago). But I'm pretty sure the congestion plays a big part in raising the funds for maintaining, improving and expanding the transport network. Not sure if anyone has figures on that. My personal feeling is the congestion charge ciuold be a good thing as long as money raised goes back into transportation.

I think it's only fair that someone with a ticket lives streams the whole thing form their phone and gives overly positive commentary (for that authentic Robins TV feel). IT would mean them not enjoying the game as much, but (crucially) it would mean I could see the game and I think we can all agree that is what's really important here.

I agree with the OP overall, but thought we actually created a lot yesterday. 15/16 shots on goal 5 really good chances, actually felt there was a bit of bad luck + forwards not taking chances. What was our XG? where is the best place to get that info?

I don't think it is a poor decision to come, if you are the keeper and you are capable of catching the ball in the area there is no reason not to come. If the defense listen to the call and trust it Max claims the ball easily and we have controlled possession of the ball. I think the issue ends up being a lack of authority from Max, the CB's don't leave it and after what comes next he should be furious with them, but just looks dejected. I think in terms of controlling his area he is doing the right thing he just doesn't (yet?) have the confidence/authority over the defense he needs.

Big improvement form the weekend. Just need to not rush the final ball, some of the crossing would be fine if we had Martin on but hopeful balls into the right zone don't really work with the two we have up top right now. I think Max showing why he is in (not saying he should be - just that he offers something different), he puts himself in positions you won't see Bents in. He is often outside the box and at one point, (around 20/21 mins in I think) as we passed along the back three, he moves into a RB position to let Sykes push forward. Also did well the one time he had to come out. Also sooo refreshing to have Carey in commentary - someone with a fondness for the club, but also happy to criticise and give actually analysis of where we may be going wrong.

I think Bentley is a better shot stopper and one of the few keepers who actually more often than not wins 1:1 situations - at his best he could win you a game. However he doesn't offer as much in terms of positioning and distribution. I think we will see today that Max is more of a sweeper keeper and will receive the ball almost like an outfield player at times. He allow the whole backline to move up and help break lines and give quicker distribution. I likened it before to Man city when Pep arrived and went from Hart to Bravo - hart was better in many ways, but did not let the team play the way the manager wanted.

I think DB pulls his challenge as he sees the flag up. He definitely knows its been given offside before the balls in the net. It would be unlike him not to get into the player more on a 1:1.

Think of it as an extended version of the referee playing advantage. If we score there is no need to award the penalty as the goal is better than the penalty.

Now we just need some people on the pitch who think its all over.

One of the weirdest and most chaotic games I've seen. It was entertaining and I'm not sure we deserved the 3 points but job done I suppose. Against a better side we'd have been battered and it says a lot about the quality in this league that Bristol didn't punish us. Bristol City are going to make top 6 come end of season. Gave us a right old game. That second half was entertaining and terrible in equal spates 3 points is 3 points but that was sloppy at best at times. Bristol will feel they deserved a point. So much space for Sykes. I think bring Semenyo on - they'll either continue to leave the space on the right and both he and Sykes will run riot, or they'll react to how much time Sykes got and change something to cover him more - in which case we have AS there to double up.
