  1. Interesting stats for both at champs @Davefevs It is of course through L1 tinted glasses but also an opinion based on how both players have performed when I have watched them for us. Probably unfair on both given JET never played for us in the champ as KP hasn’t in L1. However based on performances in a City shirt, for me, along with entertainment value KP is not fit to lace JET’s boots. I always found myself on the edge of my seat with JET. I find myself wanting to be with KP but it never materialises. KP at times gets some unfair stick and he still has age on his side, but for me, JET all day long.
  2. Both good options with age on their side, however I feel as though Pring is on the way up and JD is stagnating. I would go with Pring personally, been really disappointed with JD but at 23 he can still improve so wouldn’t write him off.
  3. My guess would be even if we can offload him, it would probably mean he goes without a fee & we still end up paying a percentage of his wages.
  4. You have taken the words right out my mouth here fella. I get the comparisons with JET but KP isn’t fit to lace JET’s boots. I used to love watching him. What a player. I can’t imagine KP would ever contribute to so many goals or assists even if he dropped down a league.
  5. I don’t have any particular dislike for Tottenham as such but Levy really does come across as a right bellend. I hope it continues to go tits up for him, but if they get Conte I can see them still pushing hard for top 4 this season.
  6. Absolute legend and will certainly take some replacing. Be interesting to see what happens.
  7. Sounds like that’s not his natural accent. He has to be making that up surely ?
  8. Any chance we can move this topic onto the BS3 Facebook group page!? Wouldn’t look out of place on there with all the other Neanderthals commenting. That was massive today and very much needed. Pearson needs time to see this through. People need to get a sense of realism.
  9. Well said Monkeh. Nail on head with that post.
  10. Hilarious ? social media meltdown for all the plastics.
  11. I think for as frustrating as it is, the more intelligent section of our fan base can put across views in a constructive manner, whilst expressing disappointment. The Bristol City BS3 group for example is full of Neanderthals though and seldom are there any good debates on there. You simply won’t get realism or constructive debate on there. Platforms like those doesn’t represent the majority of the fan base, so I take all that with a very large pinch of salt. Its fair to say we are all disappointed and expect more. As fans we are entitled to our opinion, there is just a way to express that opinion. Ignore the knuckle draggers fella, they ain’t worth the energy. Keep the faith.
  12. Christ this forum is becoming more & more like that hideous Bristol City BS3 Facebook group ?
  13. Yeah that’ll do it…. Not sure what shouting instructions would have done against a far superior side today. We weren’t at the races at all but the gap in quality was obvious.
  14. Some good questions from the fans last night. All 4 guys that gave up their time on stage spoke very well, with a good bit of humour too, as did all of the fans as well in fairness. A good night and a nice touch from the club with the free pint.
  15. Bang on. They are clearly playing for Pearson and the club. Yes the home form needs to improve but we are such a hard side to beat now. The commitment is first class and I’ve not seen a City side leave everything on the pitch week in week out like this since the double winning side.
  16. Spot on. Much improved performance but still didn’t do enough in the final third. We were unlucky tonight but unless you have a cutting edge when you are on top you will often come up short. That’s the fine margins of the championship. On another note, amateur at best from Weimann. Such a stupid foul to commit. As for Williams don’t even get me started. Complete lack of professionalism. He has been a decent signing for us but that should be his last game for us. Especially as we have £20million worth of centre half’s on the bench.
  17. Could really do with getting something today. Not overly impressed with that team. Tomlin needs to play central.
  18. What would you rather people do? Not say it as they see it and praise Reid just because you rate him? He was very poor today along with all the midfield. That's not getting on his back, that's an honest assessment.... The idea of this forum is surely to encourage debate? Like others have said, a negative opinion isn't always based on having something against the player in particular.
  19. Completely agree. It's all about opinions and debate. I can't see how people can't understand that. Just because people are critical of players doesn't mean they are 'getting on their backs' or 'making them a scapegoat'.
  20. Agree. I think blaming the 'coaching' on Freemans abysmal season is ridiculous. Especially when players like Kodjia, Pack & Flint have improved & adapted throughout the season. Even if the coaching isn't as good as it should be Freeman isn't good enough for this level.
  21. I personally think this could go either way for the g*s. What happens with them doesn't really bother me either. What did bother me yesterday though was the brain dead dullard that kept using the take over of the g*s as an excuse to shout/sing racist slurs about it all afternoon. I've met some thick people in my time but you sir were right up there with the thickest. Very very poorly educated man.
  22. Completely agree but too good to be true I feel. I will just be happy with that snivelling**** Blatter being ousted.
