  1. No, it's their number 1 artist and fan "Manually manipulatesy" EDIT: the swear filter spoils the effect but you get the idea ?
  2. I had my doubts about our new design but if the sags are taking the piss out of it then I feckin love it. Anything that gets up the noses of the bitter few is good for me.
  3. Indeed, this was the Bards effort: We blue few, we happy blue few, we band of boob cricketers; For here to-day them "sheds" in the ground with me Shall be my excuse; be they ever so vile, This day shall bring no further points; And gentlemen in Guernsey now a-bed Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here to invest, And hold their plastic franchise cheap whilst we are the famous blue and white and have family friendly fans Who fought with us upon horse punching day.
  4. In a similar time frame it took those clowns to buy a tv and install it (July 2018 to April 2019) we managed to pull down an entire stand and rebuild it. (East End demolished July 2014 and South Stand Complete May 2015). I know they say "these things take time" up in Sag Land but using their Tele as a reference it should take them about 150 years to redevelop their ground.
  5. Having just looked up Joe Dunne's highly successful coaching and managerial career, my response would be... Dunne? They certainly have been! ?
  6. Some Saggy will probably reveal that Clarke-Harris's mum's, teacher's, sister in laws uncles dog walker once got on a bus driven by a man who had a friend who met a girl on holiday who had a brother who worked with a lady who had a son who once delivered a parcel to a Hargreaves Lansdown Office and therefore that penalty miss was all down to our Chairman and his ambition to drive the blue few out of business.
  7. Looking at those numbers, the sags must have about 25% of their crowd made up of non-season ticket holders. Let's be generous and call that 2000 people. Let's be even more generous and say they pay an average ticket price of £20. That means their total (non season ticket) match day ticket revenue is very roughly £40000. Not even £1 million over 23 home league games. Or to put it another way, if half our average crowd at the gate buy 2 pints of Thatchers and a pie on match day, we put more money into the Club than the Sags do in pay on the day ticket revenue (assuming they haven't slipped in thanks to a dodgie season ticket or friendly steward of course!! ??)
  8. That's just like the fat kid at school who only got a game of 'headers and volleys' because it was his footy. "it's my ball and if you don't let me play we can all go home!!"
  9. The Dopey post match interview left me wondering if he intends to ramp up the anti board rhetoric to see how far he can go until he's sacked. He's already moved up a notch or two recently. I bet, come another defeat Saturday, we could hear accusations of camel buggering.
  10. Ah, that good old "mutual agreement" which roughly translates as "Do you accept this pay off?" "Yes I do". Somehow I can't see the Wally's purse having enough coins in it for a "mutual agreement" with the manager.
  11. That was a bloody great win today. Well done Bris.
  12. And that's why you can't. They love their little echo chamber over there where all they can hear is the sound of their own voices telling themselves how wonderful they are. Even their fellow supporters who dare to voice concerns are classified as Teds, shouted down or cast out. Its the North Korea of football forums.
  13. I can't stand Stoke. From losing at Wembley in the Tinpot Cup to coming under a bombardment of bottles, glass and Lord knows what at the back of their away end at the Britannia. Every time I've seen us play them its been a turgid game. And the connection with Pulis. Horrible club. City to win 3-0 COYR
  14. So now even AFC Wimbledon have scored more goals for the sags than their star striker Tom Nicholls. Bargain.
  15. My bet would be "If it's still 0-0 after 90 minutes we've still got a chance of taking home a point" ?
  16. Amazing wasn't it? He'd had a great record at the highest level for a good few years before he came to us. It seemed like a quality signing at the time.
  17. Given that we converted him from a player who scored 17 goals in the premiership with Sunderland in 04/05 to a player who scored just 5 league goals for us in the next 2 years, he clearly learnt something in his time here that's rubbing off on the blue few's alleged strikers
  18. It's a no from me. Surely a classic range should have the 'classic' badge?
  19. Right. Got it. Now I see what you mean about two options. Any potential buyer either needs to find Wally's asking price plus have enough money to pay off the outstanding loan which cuts all ties to the AQ family or, the buyer pays the asking price for the club and has to agree a separate arrangement to make loan repayments to the loan holder. The second option is cheaper in the short term but the buyer needs to find the revenue to ensure the loan payments can be made. The second option also represents better profit for Wally and Co since they get back their initial investment plus a bit of profit and make profit on the interest from the loan. If anything, goes wrong for the new buyer the AQs would still have their investment protected against the Mem.
  20. Sorry for being Mr Thicky McThick but I'm struggling to work out where the 12 million quid came from. I get that its a loan from Dwayne Dibley Sports to Bristol Rovers and secured against the value of the mem site should things go boobs north. Where did Dwayne Dibley Sports get the 12 million from? So with Rovers, the AQs paid an initial purchase price to Higgs an Co and then added 12 million on top of that as a loan. So to break even they need to sell for their purchase price but whoever takes the club on must find the money to clear the loan? Is that right?
  21. My guess would be that the price of buying Rovers starts at 12 million plus. I don't see why anyone would purchase Bristol Rovers 1883 without buying the facilities that go with it.
  22. No wonder they hired a new commercial director at the end of 2017. They made 20% less on commercial activity after they returned to the league. With a huge rise in losses not being reflected in significant increases in income and expenditure, it makes you wonder where all the money is going?
  23. I'm confused, I was under the impression that taking a massive dump on over 100 years of club history was supposed to fire Briz towards the top of the table? The bears, together we are confused.
  24. If I was a betting man, I'd bet that when the squatters originally agreed their awesome new stand upgrades with the council and the sag, they agreed to apply for planning permission within 28 days of the original installation date. However, when installation was delayed due to the Tipplewell Primary School sports day still using the stands, the original date slipped and no one remembered to update the agreement. Therefore, the 28 days countdown had already started even though the structures were not up. So, when they do get the things up and open they now definitely need planning permission as they no longer qualify as temporary. Just a guess though.
