  1. But apparently not if you clamber over a war memorial waving a Palestinian flag.
  2. And result in a speeding fine.
  3. I forget where I read it now, but I seem to recall he was their bassist on one of their tours, i.e. as opposed to studio/album.
  4. So, someone like Bradley Orr. In all seriousness, I thought this initially, but he turned out rather well, didn’t he?
  5. I am reading that Neil Lennon is being considered for the long vacant manager post. Do you perhaps have any thoughts on this @Miah Dennehy?
  6. I’m not sure the conveyor belt has dried up. Off the top of my head, I can think of two players who would be eligible, but, unfortunately, will not be selected. Rico Lewis, who currently has his own thread on here, is unavailable as he has been named in the full England squad, as was Jude Bellingham, before he pulled out due to injury. I believe a certain Alex Scott might also have been eligible.
  7. Unfortunately, I’ve never watched him play. I did read recently, however, that his grandfather was a bassist with Oasis. Totally irrelevant to his football ability, but I thought it was quite interesting. Probably coincidental, but I understand Gary Ainsworth tried to sign him on loan. Actually, I made that last bit up.
  8. Just as you desired, but probably a little too late.
  9. The three big threats now gone, but probably too little too late.
  10. I’m still holding a bit of hope for South Africa.
  11. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. As I was typing ‘U23 line up’, I was thinking ‘Hang on, don’t they normally put out an U21 team?’. All is now clear. Incidentally, does anybody recall when the U23 competition stopped?
  12. First thoughts are that a home defeat against Cribbs is something of a surprise. I saw from the team sheet that it was quite different to our usual U23 line up. Any particular reason, or was it an U18 as someone suggested earlier?
  13. I’m not sure I’ve heard or read anywhere that he has or may be charged with murder, or even manslaughter. As I indicated earlier, to the best of my knowledge, he has not been charged with anything whatsoever.
  14. Indeed and, as you state, he can now be interviewed on record and under ‘Caution’, i.e. he must tell the truth. It should also be noted that he has not (yet, or even if at all) been charged.
  15. Hardly surprising, India and the BCCI have form. When was the tournament schedule released? When was it confirmed that Pakistan officials would actually be granted visas to attend? Anyway, is anyone actually watching this match? Come on NZ, you can do this.
  16. The general consensus appears to be that that the Germanic markets are better, and they are certainy taken more seriously in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and even Luxembourg, as witnessed by the genuine products on sale, both food/drinks and gifts. I have visited markets in three of the countries mentioned, the exception being Switzerland, and they are all quite quaint, with obviously some being better than others. By chance, I shall be off to Alsace (which still retains many links to Germany) for a long weekend in a couple of weeks time, and shall very likely take the opportunity to visit the Christmas market in Srasbourg once more, but also Obernai.
  17. Is TC actually meeting up with the Scotland squad?
  18. Is that perhaps why TC has seemed a little bit downcast this past week?
  19. Precisely. This is essentially and predominantly a football (based) forum. Might I suggest (respectfully) that the state of your previous/current sex and/or gender has no place on such a forum. Re. your claim that you have been raped, whether as a man or a woman, I have never heard/read about this, but I have no reason to doubt you. Nevertheless, apart from empathy and, of course, aside from an obvious and no doubt shared abhorrence at such a heinous crime, I can only repeat that this subject should be redirected elsewhere. Finally, in so far as it concerns ‘this place going to the dogs’ perhaps you might consider shortening your lead a little. Good Night and God Bless.
  20. I was going to suggest you might add Joe Williams to your brief list, but I have just checked and see he is only 26 - he will be 27 in a few weeks. Additionally, his occasional lack of performance is probably more due to his injury problems (whose fault that is doesn’t fall in this thread). Similarly, Kal Naismith, whilst soon to be 32, seems to show no real signs of slowing down, repeated injuries notwithstanding. In short, I think I share your view that the OP was rather strange, provocative even.
  21. Not forgetting Jack Grealish. No full age caps, but plenty of age group appearances.
  22. I have just realised who you are. I thought your style and content reminded me of somebody else, thought how strange it was that I hadn’t seen him post for a while as he is usually quite prolific, and then Bingo! My Eurêka moment, if you like.
  23. It’s the final group game today, and I see that Roelof bowled Kohli. I would like to have seen his celebration .
