We did ourselves proud today in that second half. No shame whatsoever losing narrowly to a good Premiership side. Wolves fans on their forum full of praise for us, some saying we’re better than several teams they’ve played in the top flight this year, others saying they think we should be serious contenders for promotion.
Let the sad Sagheads sit in the shadows and mock, it’s all they’ve ever done. No wonder no one takes them seriously with their tents and shit support

The sale of Eastville funded the legendary last in the league side of 1939
So the sags were indebted to a certain Mr A. Hitler of the Reichstag, Berlin for saving them from relegation to non league, that was until a Mr C. Daniel of Mansfield did the job properly of course.

The Supporters Club asked "How is the look of The Colony training base for Bristol Rovers FC changing?"
Have they received an answer yet?
Is it still work in progress?
Has the fencing been paid for yet?
For £70K a year for a part time job I've got a lovely suit and as much bull5hit as you want

The BBC website has Abu Ogogo going from the Gas to Coventry. Being one of those who has no idea about most of their squad, I took this to be correct and was thinking they can't have many players left.
Stefan Payne must have been desperately unhappy there, I don't quite understand why he ever moved in the first place, Shrewsbury were looking really good last year and he had scored 11 goals for them. 20 games and 2 goals later, he is back there. Lest we forget, this is how enthusiastic he was on signing...........I genuinely believe he thought he was signing for the other Bristol club.
Well nobody will bat an eyelid when he next gives their loyal and true the V sign.
Its a bit awkward when you're wearing the same tatty rag.

Wouldn't it be perfect if Payne scored the goals to send the sags down? Let's hope he does.
I can just see it now, headline in the evil post - A Payne in the gas ha ha

So the new striker all the sags desperately wanted to turn their season round turns out to be . . . . a left back who has played something like as many games as hot shot nicholls has scored in

Tehy are still going on about Wycombe!

Agree with Adams views 100% - haven't seen an anti-football team like Wycombe for quite a few years. This isn't sour grapes for losing but did anyone else also feel that the Wycombe players also (probably under instruction) hoofed more balls over the stands than in an average rugby game ?!
Yeah, Wycombe were appalling. I'd rather finish 20th then have to watch them every week.
They played like a poor Conference side - sadly, we played just as bad- but at least we didn't stall the game with playacting, time wasting and although we did do a bit of 'hoof' ball it was nowhere near as much as what they did. Their RB could only do one thing, hoof it as far as he could- usually directly upwards! We were appalling that day but at least we know we are capable of a better standard normally. I suspect that is how Wycombe play every week.
The only animal I know who "hoofs it" to use their rather coloqual coin of phrase would be a horse or a donkey.
So that's it then, you heard it, er, straight from the horse's mouth, even the sags admit they have a team of donkeys and a tramp!

Yes it will spur Tomlin on much like the last player who played against them recently with City connections for Donny (that's rovers not United), he responded to the few half witted moronic shitttttead comments by gleefully tearing them a new one and promptly putting in a man of the match performance, which, granted isn't that hard against a pub team but nevertheless one I'm sure he enjoyed immensely.

Expect the sags to get Bury at the bog with Bury playing with the obligatory 10 men as they seem to need a helping hand nowadays to win a match.
Cue Micky Naynard.

Did I hear cockman correctly on Radio Bristol this morning say he wants his players to enjoy themselves on a great pitch in a great stadium.

Chatting to one of the more engaged Fewers on the weekend, he has a terrible time trying to get his kids to go to games with him.
Part of the problem is that most nights of the week, there is top flight uk/European football on the telly, and watching lower league stuff is crap in comparison, and equally the environment they are having to watch games in doesn't make for an enjoyable match day experience.
His kids would rather go and watch the Flyers.
Or at the very least he could get an adult and two children's return tickets for the new South West in the corner bus shelter stand (row M temporarily unavailable).
He might have to wait a long time for a bus to turn up mind.

They’re obsessed - I’d be more worried about relegation if I were a sag.

Swindle, tin pot according to the sags! Do me a favour!
That's why the sags are so "special". They think they're miles better than everyone else with their "massive" away support and thousands upon thousands of fans love them. Its why all of their home matches are sold out, isn't it.
The likes of Accrington should just roll over and die and let them win.
They have a complete disregard and lack of respect for these teams and it continues to show its distasteful head.
Its about time they realised that THEY are the tin pot club and could very likely lose their League 1 status.

Swindle is a better option than the sags. The tramps are in the stands rather than on the pitch & they have six fingers per hand rather than three.
