Ha ha, lower league football??? wtf
Owned by Jordanians, er. . . so what.
So by using this particular piece of "gaslogic" as an example, a Manchester City fan should be doing research on Stockport County so that when they discuss the next cup final or the next round of the Champions League they can do so in the knowledge that they are in possession of the full facts of lower league football.

The great thing about rivalry is that despite you being in a league cup semi final and having beaten one of the biggest teams in the world to get there, then very nearly getting a draw at a club that is probably currently one of the biggest teams in the world AND having a very decent chance of playing in the biggest league in the world next season, is that me mentioning the fact that we had you over a few times nearly 30 years ago still gets on yer nerves
Carry on believing that if it makes you feel important but in the greater scheme of things and where we are today its totally irrelevant and more importantly you know it too.

I always have a look at this thread for the latest comedy instalment.
I couldn't tell you who the sags have got next, likewise I am hard pressed to name any of their players apart from the tramp for obvious light hearted reasons.
Rivalry? They would give anything to rival us but in truth they are so far behind in every sense that any attempt just makes them look even more desperate.
They would do far better in trying to get their own house in order first.

Well that's obvious, this is a football stadium.
The memorial ground is a rugby ground. No amount of sheds, tents or the odd cricket pavilion will ever turn it into anything else.

As a Kingswood boy born and bred, it feels me with great glee that this monstrosity, which was about 200 yards from my family home, will be gone forever.
It defies belief that anything could actually have a detrimental effect on Kingswood High Street but this managed it for decades!
I was brought up in Kingswood and have had to live with the shame all these years, thankfully that blot on the landscape will be gone forever; perhaps this is just the start . . .

Oh dear god!!
'In the longer term, I've thought before that QPR are a model of exactly what I would like us and our stadium to become. Not because of our ties with Francis and Holloway, but because they are what they are, despite the big competition on their doorstep. A solid Championship side with the occasional foray into the Prem, with the odd slip-up into L1. A compact 18,000 seater stadium surrounded by housing which generates a great atmosphere. No need to worry about Arsenal, Chelsea etc. It's a fan-based club and a different thing altogether from those massive football corporations'
Does that include the financial overspend / cheating, the worst ground in the Championship and the £60M fine hanging over the club, for cheating then?
These fookers are more ignorant /stupid than even I thought and I perceive them as just above an amoeba (with all respect to amoebas)!
They "are what they are" only because they are a London based club who haven't been able to compete without overspending.
Like it or not they will be soon be overtaken by Brentford when they get there new ground but I am not surprised at the comparison as both are tinpot clubs.

I'd agree with most of what you say SJ, but I actually quite like Loftus Road. There are a lot of restricted views seats agreed, but I like the way everything is packed in so tight and is a ground with character, capable of creating a really hostile atmosphere.
I have to take exception to this. It was better in the 1970's when it had two open ends. The "improvements" with the seating and the two tiers at the away end are nothing short of shocking in the modern era.
You can't see the ball if its crossed high in the bottom tier plus the restricted views at either corner flag.
I have witnessed how rammed the narrow concourse gets in the top tier so heaven forbid if there was an emergency.
With so many "restricted" views in the top tier its a wonder how any away fan can see the whole match clearly given how cramped the room is between each row of seats is anyway. Its a very 1980's way of treating fans.
As far as comfort is concerned it reminds me of the delightful Kenilworth Road.
With more modern stadia available I think fans are quite rightly critical now of the "facilities" on offer.
Long gone are the days when you could be served hot food from a garden shed and rightly so.

That thick sag must be short sighted, he's facing the wrong way. Probably better looking away from the pitch

All he said was we are talking about a plan, but we dont yet have a plan. Well they have been talking about a plan for months and will continue to talk about it for months to come. The reason they cant come up with a plan is that they have no money. Seems like all they are doing is moving the club shop and painting the bogs. Later, they will improve the playing staff with a visit to Lidl as they cant afford Waitrose. He just kept saying that these imaginary plans will take time. Sorry Wally there's not much time left.
I wonder if they have a plan to deal with insolvency.
He won't have to worry about that either, someone else will be appointed to sell off the watney cup, santa's grotto and any other bric a brac tat left.
They could start by selling off the seats as memorabilia for comedic value reminiscing on how they used to watch the ball being lumped from one end of the bog to the other . . . oh wait, they don't have many seats

So the sags have actually won a match and are now therefore getting promoted to the Championship according to gaslogic.
To put things into perspective can someone post that link to Sir Colin's famous goal and the laughing policeman song [not that I need reminding of how 5hit they are]
-
I've never heard such utter bull5hit from Wally. He obviously thinks his club's fans are the thickest planks going . . . .
He's right! Keep sucking it up morons, he's pi55ing in your pockets.

So when the latest tramp or has been parades himself in front of the white plastic chairs in that quirky blue and white bin liner just remember that he is Dopey's third choice scraping of the barrel.

The only way they're going to generate enough cash to improve their squad is for "Santa's Grotto" to be a roaring success

Its obvious that dopey and the white plastic chairman don't communicate as he said only last week that January is not a good time for buying has beens or tramps so when he gets his poundland Christmas list out I think he's going to be disappointed.
Oh well never mind.

For all of you who want to see the end of BRFC, be careful what you wish for. We do really need that laughing stock and embarrasment to the city for our daily gifts.
However, their debt mountain is growing by £600k pa and they are making a trading loss of £? pa, it won't be long.
Who is going to pump money into that shambles come March?
Fear not, when they're gone we can all start laughing again at swindle town especially as they've usually won the league before Christmas.

Looking at the "quality" of the sags recent player acquisitions makes you wonder which shopping list dopey was actually allowed to use. . .
Was it Waitrose? . . . NO!
Was it Lidl? . . NO!
Well it must've been Poundland then? . . . . NO!
Judging by the sell by date it's clear Dopey shops at the Salvation Army.
