  1. Meh. Not terrible, not great. Lively couple of minutes at the end, maybe we are growing into the game
  2. I reckon Brad Potts is the type of player that will cause us a lot of issues
  3. For anyone using a laptop or desktop computer, click on the article and then press Ctrl+P. Then you can read the entire thing in Print Preview!
  4. Don't worry Hibs fans, I'm sure he will pick a team he can trust for the second leg...
  5. Used to be a proper cider drinker, nowadays its a Heineken Zero or a Clear Head for me
  6. Will go to either Plymouth or Exeter I reckon; was on loan with Exeter a few years ago
  7. Anglo-Italian Cup 1992 away kit I think, not sure if we ever actually wore it
  8. I wasn't yet on this earth when this was taking place but I do have something that I hope contributes to the nostalgia in this thread!
  9. I think he would be a top level youth coach or youth team manager. Can't really blame him for wanting to continue in first team management but he has too many weaknesses that inhibit him; weaknesses that have been the same at multiple clubs. Never seen him win at mind games with other managers either
  10. Okay then. I presume you'll be playing the persecution card next, although it's you that jumped into the middle of an unrelated topic and started spouting nonsense. Welcome to my ignore list; Robbored has been asking for a companion for years now, he'll be delighted!
  11. You make a reasonable point; I'm not sure. It had been an observation that there was less 'gamesmanship' on the pitch and a significantly less combative and volatile dynamic in attendees. Of course, the pantomime of men's football is a big draw for going and watching it live. It was just nice to see a change whilst still being in the familiar environment of Ashton Gate. I do feel that my point did not revolve around 'having a dig' but was rather more focused on the positive aspects of today; of which there were many!
  12. Hazmats on folks, this one is only going to get worse before the inevitable locking
  13. Today was fantastic to be part of and honestly one of my favourite experiences at Ashton Gate. Arguably the biggest moment for City WFC thus far. Great to see so many families and young girls attend; the momentum from our Euros win undoubtedly a catalyst. Even if you're a sceptic of the women's game, I strongly recommend giving it a go; much more positive and wholesome than what the men's game often provides too!
  14. I love this as out of context it looks like he came up with the title himself
  15. If AG isnt an option for every game (and I hope it is), it would be good to see them at Manor Farm. Just glad they dont play up at Stoke Gifford any more, was never a good location or venue for them
  16. 3-0! Surely that's it, we are up
  17. Outstanding save, one of the best I've seen live
  18. Goal! 2-0 to us. Scrappy corner, surprised it counted. Charlton keeper injured
  19. Been alright this; would prefer if we had all been put in the Lansdown though
