There may not be any bad seats or views but the club price some areas higher than others and because the concourses are all open and allow access into all areas then people will pay a lower price but can sit in higher priced areas.

Ok I must be missing something here. But why would anyone feel the need, want, or desire to sit in a seat they have not bought because it's of a higher value than the seat they have paid less money for? Because you gain nothing from being in a higher priced seat at Ashton Gate from what I can see.

Buy a cheaper ticket and then sit in a more expensive one.

Why? That seems pointless to me. A ticket is a ticket. I do not see we have any bad seats or views in the ground.

    There would I'm sure.

I sit in the central Lansdown just in front of the posh seats and every game, 5 minutes or so into each half, there's a steady influx of people without tickets wandering up, standing around, and trying to find seats - usually in the more expensive bit.

I don't actually care about them sitting there too much, but it's a pain in the arse with them moving around, getting in the way, sometimes then getting kicked out and doing it all in reverse etc. while I'm trying to watch the game.

But If they in the ground. Then they have a season or match day ticket. To get in the ground. So why not sit in the seat they have purchased?

I have seen this happen once or twice in lower Lansdown, W16 &E17 and even in family blocks. Where I go when grandsons come too.

I think this goes on a lot more than people realise. People buy the cheapest tickets then all they have to do is look on the ticketing app to see where the seats are in the landsdown that haven’t been sold just before they go in. Not rocket science is it. The stewards on the steps going up into each section could do random ticket checking but even that might not stop it

But then there be lots of complaints of ticket checking once in the ground

I watched the sky replay today and they kept saying a lot of players were slipping on it

Yeah I noticed that watching and have noted it in other games too.

We won promotion from Fourth Division.

Still my fav moment from all the ups and downs over the years. To get back out of Div 4. Good old Terry Cooper still feel he does not get the credit he deserves for what he did.

I reckon tonight’s bench is amongst the best we’ve had at Championship level and will only get stronger with the return of Pring, Twine and Atkinson.

It’s the hope that kills you!

Did Atkinson not come off injured in the earlier game today ?

Seeing as the football was so good I need to find something else to moan about so here it is…

Those bloody buses after the game are getting on my nerves! Never ready to let people on as the crowd floods out which causes a build up. People queuing all over the pavement making it impossible to walk past.

Surely they can find a better system for this. So annoying week in week out!

There it is, feel a little better for it now.

I was on the pavement waiting  for a bus home. And I have just got home. And tonight was a bloody joy. Maybe if less People drove and congested the road making the buses delayed then they could clear the waiting people quicker. Who cares tonite was great on do many levels.

    OK?

    Well.... let me think......

We've got a new Manager who I believe will do well and improve on the work of the previous one, we've made some good signings this season with Knight and Dicky outstanding and McCrorie looking promising, we have a strong defence getting stronger, we already have some potentially exciting young talent for next season, a fantastic stadium where we continue to get great support, top training ground and facilities, several players coming back from injury such as Sykes ,Twine and Atkinson with the unknown wildcard of Mebude, the potential to finish the season strongly and have a great owner in Steve Lansdown who continues to provide financial stability.

My glass is half full and I'll fill it up again when it's empty so I'm feeling really positive and won't fill my pants or rupture my spleen when we  lose .

Any idea when we expect to see Mebude in action ? If you ITK.

Would take a point now , personally think they will beat us there confidence is sky high and they play a fast attractive brand of football , start of the season they were awful at the back playing out but I think they have sorted those issues out , 1-3 in my eyes ( humble pie gratefully excepted if needs be ) if we do lose I will be looking for a big  performance improvement on the Leeds game  ,

shame this game doesn’t come 2 weeks later when fingers crossed and if all goes to plan we will probably have the strongest (FIT) squad we have had for a very long time .

Yeah strong fit squad is the key. Players still in injury recovery mode and squad coming off a bust schedule with league and cup games. Wonder if  we are expecting any  body else back from injury or unexpected selections from the array of talent in our youth system ?

LM has been in the job for approximately 14 weeks.  Funds are being released in the summer from the 35 million that has been accrued from transfers out. You either believe we are making progress or you don't, depending on your POV.   The definition of Ambition is: : : - " A desire and a strong wish to be successful"   Whatever your position, it cannot really be denied that WE ARE showing ambition?  Whether that is fulfilled is a different matter?

Personally i support Manning and believe he will, given some time, prove to be successful, and dependent on our Summer signings, I intend to put my money down on us finishing in the Top 6 next season.  That is either blind ambition or foollhardiness?   Ha!!

Yes I agree Max. But surely this all comes down to one thing.  The board making available to LM the players who can pull off promotion. And I am starting to see what LM is trying to do and liking it. Success in the modern game is down to that dirty subject of money

The hierarchy wrote this season off a while ago mate, frustrating as it is. So were never gonna break the bank in Jan.

But what about that club ambition - premier league target statement when they sacked NP. Are they so up their asses that they think we believe they have any idea what they know what they are doing.

I am red till I dead and always will be but they really starting to ******* **** me right off now.

Mebude wasn’t eligible for the initial tie which meant he couldn’t feature tonight. We’re targeting a forward in the summer so yea, I think it’s all about next season now. And then I’m sure it will be about the season after, etc etc 🤣

But I am not sure how much more evidence, proof, signs, tarot readings, the buying new player team at Ashton gate need to see.

We need experienced  goal scoring striker NOW. Not tomorrow in the summer when we are not playing but NOW

Hi all, I'm sure many of you know Martin Amos, a great bloke and a bonkers City fan. He has health issues but was well enough to go on his dream holiday to Vietnam.

Sadly, he's collapsed, is not well in hospital in Vietnam.

Please keep Martin in your prayers and let's hope he can get home. ?

If you read this Mart, this is for you, get well soon pal.
