3 Years ago yesterday it was that Early of Fortune said "new stadium in 2 years". How have they not seen through this charlatan yet?

I was thinking that if a commentator or journo tried using that today, they would be accused of "Americanisation" or some such. We do need a few more "hot shots" though.

The argument always seems to be same with certain people. "We don't care about the rules, we like --------- so we are going to do it anyway" . That's fine, but why get upset when the rules are enforced. It's the same with the safe standing, I stand in that section but out on the edge and I love it. But there are others to the centre who seem to think that it's a special area that allows them to act like *****, goad stewards, and throw stuff on the pitch. They then wonder why the club won't extend the section further across the South Stand. The "we're so special/real fans" element among them really annoy me too. There have been occasions in the last couple of seasons when the South Stand to the left of me have started getting involved and getting chants going, only for them to be immediately find the bloke on the megaphone or others starting a completely different chant like it's only them that are allowed to be singing. The most annoying thing is that they talk about getting an atmosphere going with opposition fans, but you will see on Saturday that as soon as Sunderland get going, they will wither away like a salted snail, except for a few boos and maybe a half-hearted "who are yuh?" *Sorry, rant over.

Players moving around the Counties used to be so rare, now you are lucky if they play more than a couple of matches.

As they are local these guys will train with us when they are not training with their loan clubs. Edwards, Moore and Taylor are at full time clubs as well.

I thought that was only the "Premier League 2" Academy football, but I just read something on the Charlton Athletic website, so maybe it's wider ranging? To be honest, over the last couple of seasons most of our U23 team has been mostly under 20 with a few "guest appearances" from older players. Didn't Pearson say he would expect 20+ to be around the 1st team set up if they were going to make it?

I have had issues in the past like this. I like Opera, but not all sites are geared to use it and you do sometimes get these anomalies, I have had success with turning off any adblockers I have installed and setting the security to it's lowest levels, but it doesn't always work. Do you have an alternative browser like Edge or Chrome you can use just to get signed up? If not it might be worth installing one of them just to complete the form and uninstalling it again if you don't want it clogging up your device.

We're playing in the Championship, how many teams don't get bossed for periods in the games? There were periods on Saturday when we were 'bossing it' I suppose the Hull fans were thinking the same thing in those periods

It's strange isn't it, I watch women runners, jumpers, throwers etc in Athletics and marvel at their ability. Laura Kenny on a bike or Rebecca Addligton in the pool, amazing. Not once have I thought "yeah, but they would be light years behind Usain Bolt, Mo Farah, Greg Rutherford, Duplantis etc. Probably because it's ******* weird.

One of the few black characters on TV when I was growing up who wasn't a "baddie" or a figure of fun. One half of the first inter racial kiss on TV as well.
