  1. Hi All, this is aimed at everyone but most likely @TomFmay be the most help. I bought a really nicely specced Dere laptop very cheaply from China back before all the issues of sourcing things that way kicked in. It has run beautifully for 2 years, but suddenly I started getting screen issues and then finally a completely blank screen even though I can hear its working. I think it's the graphics card that's gone but without a screen it's quite difficult to run any diagnostics and I don't seem to be able get it into the boot mode. I am normally game to fix some hardware problems for myself, but I don't want to go buying a graphics card only to find that isn't the problem. I would like some to look at it and willing to pay for repairs but not for the cost of finding out it's not repairable or isn't cost effective to repair. I would normally just go buy a new one to be honest and work out some way of getting my data from it, but looking around it would cost me twice as much these days to get one of the same spec. Does anyone know of anyone who does free quotations in the North Somerset area, preferably Portishead, I had a look at Nortech's website, but it's not very informative and to be honest it was so poor it put me off them. Any help gratefully received.
  2. They put it in the hands of Quantama, so it's imminent.
  3. This is my Quordle century results.
  4. Having seen some of the signings in the Scottish Premiership this season, I think some people have a very outdated view of what budgets etc are like up there.
  5. Not all bad then... Response to Australian bushfires In response to the bushfires in Australia in 2020, Kyrgios took a leading role in the response from the country's tennis players. He pledged to donate $200 for every ace he served during the summer, which was subsequently taken up by other Australian tennis players.[187] Kyrgios participated in the 2020 Australian Open's Rally for Relief, where he played a one-set singles match against Roger Federer.[188]
  6. He's calmed down again now.
  7. He's had some fines this tournament and has had a first warning here.
  8. Better showing from England today , so far.
  9. First time Novac has ever broken the Kyrgios serve. Still waiting for something special to happen here.
  10. I do admire your honesty in not hiding the fact that you have googled your tracks.
  11. Don't tell you know who, let him pretend he is the 1st person to notice this in about 5 years time.
  12. They have made some reasonable signings for a small club at that level. Hiwula and Yan Dhanda for example.
  13. Yes I will be posting my Quordle results tomorrow, fair to say the results are nowhere near the 90% mark. It's so frustrating at times that with one go remaining you can see two of the answers. Nerdle on the other hand I find quite easy and have only failed when they have sneaked in fractions or - figures.
  14. On the BBC website it says he played 66 minutes and assisted for their goal. Unless they have another "Edwards"? Buckie Thistle v Ross County - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62107644
  15. As this was on page 3 I am guessing that this fad has passed for some? I still like to get my brain going in the morning with this and others. I thought I would show my results as I reached my century (on this phone).
  16. I know this is a little tardy but I have only just spotted it in Private Eye and thought it was lovely.
  17. The Scottish Leagues are notoriously strict on these sort of things. In the Highland League a couple of seasons back, Fort William I think were forced to carry out a game only starting with 9 players, due to injuries and COVID. They couldn't cancel it because they had cancelled 2 previous games and 3 cancellations would a fine on top of their large points deduction they had already received.
  18. Not FFP as such, but of interest to @Mr Popodopolous, @Hxjand @Davefevs. Among others Dodgy goings on at the Cobblers. From Private Eye
  19. The title of their thread on the stadium tells you everything you need to know...
  20. I agree, plus bringing that cast together again could be difficult, I think this is why they filmed it all pretty much back to back. The final episode was beautifully done and the final scene being played out to one of my favourite songs of all time (Knocked Up - Kings of Leon), just endeared me to the show even more.
