  1. Looks a great acquisition to me, great experience and a name that will attract players.
  2. Absolutely, but Williams passing has been the real feature of the midfield. it's slick, quick and progressive.
  3. Looks like things are just starting to click for the front 3, Martin looks like he is starting to catch up with the fitness levels and Sykes seems to be coming to terms with what is expected of him.

  11. I see someone has mentioned Harry Dolmans book, I really enjoyed that. Also for a light hearted look at the life of the true journeyman footballer, take a look at Lutz Pfannenstiel's The Unstoppable Keeper. He is the only man to have played on all six continents that soccer is played on, it's hilarious at times.

  17. There have been lots that were underground "hits" like Brilliant Corners, Essential Bop, Kill it Kid, but it's a bit like sport in that there isn't the motivation to get out of a nice city to make the next step.
