  1. I heard Potter say in an interview sometime before the game that the timing wasn't great for Brighton - obviously as it was mid-season, but he can't choose when opportunities come his way. Any football club worth it's salt should have succession plans in place for players and all key staff in place.
  2. Think it was a mistake to have a 'singing section'. If these fans were spread around the stands there'd be more chance of getting others around them singing. We never needed one in the past.
  3. He went there before Potter arrived didn't he?
  4. Booing Graham Potter. Really? This bloke got you playing decent football, established you as a solid top flight team, brought in a shed load of money from player sales. I know we all love our team, but why would you begrudge him going on to further his career at a bigger club? It's not as if he came through their own backroom coaches hierarchy is it? They nicked it from Swansea FFS.
  5. Cracking song, but I wish they'd just let the fans sing for last 15min before ko so the atmosphere builds.
  6. I subscribe to the club's YouTube channel and got an alert about it.
  7. Can you tell us little about him?
  8. Why would he be? I went to India. Had a lovely time. Came back very chilled.
  9. Don't get that comment. Care to explain? ?
  10. That's a biggie for me too. Despite his errors he's still straight back in for me.
  11. He is absolutely aware of other players. He has provided plenty of excellent assists to show that. He is just more confident in his own ability and wants to take shots on goals when he has the chance now rather than give responsibility to others. Conway has done the same too. It's what strikers do. Personally, I think he isn't fully match fit yet which is part of the problem. As for OPs original post, I don't know what the answer is either. Other than I feel Chris Martin is less of a favourable option for me, especially as his lack of games means he's even more off the pace when used.
  12. And that is why we were never really promotion contenders despite the early promise. (Though I was in Dreamland for while there myself).
  13. You could view this as very lucky. Better to find out now rather than during a game when something serious has happened. Best of luck to him.
  14. I completed it but did anyone review this before you published. Some feedback: - I can only answer myself not for other men - allowing more than one response to the questions seems wrong. I can't both strongly agree and strongly disagree with a statement. Shouldn't these be radio buttons i.e. only one response allowed? - the 'i would/would not attend' scenarios would be better worded 'more likely to attend/less likely to attend'. This is how I interpreted them. No one single thing would sway me either way. - I know allowing neutral responses can mean wishy washy responses, but some of those criteria are pretty must irrelevant as to whether I go or not. - the survey seemed completely slanted toward men won't don't attend games. How about question for those who do attend to find out what they like about attending women's football rather than men's? The couple of games I went to were enjoyable because of less play acting by the players, friendlier atmosphere amongst crowd, summer weather (as games were played over the summer back then), and being able to get a beer. Personally, the biggest factor in not going is that it run alongside the men's fixtures so fitting in family/social stuff is difficult enough just going to men's games. If they reverted to playing in the summer and made it a real day e.g. BBQs etc then I think attendances would increase. Good luck.
  15. Indeed. Loved him loan. Shame it went to shite once he signed. Hope he can conquer his MH demons. He may have been a pr1ck toward the end of his time with us, but I still wish him well.
  16. Really lovely bloke. A neighbour of mine the last 18 years. Will really miss our chats about City and life. Gone too soon.
  17. I'm happy with Naismith. Been to vital to our transformation this season. Akin to how Webster transformed us when he joined. I thought Rob Atkinson's appreciation of what Kal has brought to the team and to his own confidence and opportunity to carry the ball out of defence was very telling.
  18. Loved Jacki. I used to have a white long sleeve t shirt with his name down the arm written in the style of the Solidarity movement in Poland. Players like Jacki, JET, Trundle, and Tomlin (in his loan spell before he signed and came out as a cock) are what going to football is all about.
  19. Has this been announced in the OS yet?
  20. NP strikes me as a man of integrity and I think he enjoys the process of building a club. Despite his affection for Leicester I don't think he'd leave.
  21. Wouldn't change anything just yet. Semenyo still seems a bit rusty as when he comes on. Quite often his first touch isn't there. That said, maybe he needs games to get sharp.n
  22. Richly deserved. And what a fantastic response from him in that video. Totally genuine lad. Really made yup for him. I don't really care about promotion tbh. Young City academy players playing great football in an exciting team that give their all for the shirt is all I ask for. Fantastic season so far for me. ?
  23. Went for a lovely walk then got caught in the traffic for the ******* rugby!! WhyTF does the rugby go ahead today but the football is cancelled!!
