I sorta agree with what you say, but I'm a strong believer in making your own luck! So in my books the boys get every bit of credit.

The most concerning bit for me was the perception that we’ve good enough Championship quality players when we clearly don’t.
Well if they believe that then surely they think NP is doing a poor job?

Lansdown doesn’t need to go, he just needs to learn

I don’t know why but I read the starting post as a jab at people who wanted him? It made logical sense for us to go for NP, he’s just fudged it

I’ve gone from hurt, just finding it funny how crap we are. Gotta laugh really

Is now the time?

Do people think warnock could sort this lot out?

I’m past the sad part now and just see the funny side

And if you dare try and compete finically you’ll get fined and points deducted

Unpopular opinion maybe but I don't reckon Ayling would've achieved his current potential at Bristol City. In 2015 he was struggling to get a place in our team and Leeds spotted the talent and coached him well, i don't think we could do that now or then.

Look how long it took us to get back up.
When we returned we were a much stronger squad with way better prospects. I don’t think we would’ve achieved that if we just kept clinging on. All hindsight of course

If this is the squad/manager that gets us relegated then I truly believe it’ll be better for City in the long long run. It’ll mean we’ve got a dire set of cards and are in need of a re-shuffling. Just like we did when went down last time.
is it better to go down and reshuffle or slowly delay the possibly inevitable?

No gold plating anything tonight. No excuses, thought we did ok first half but it was really really poor second half. They weren’t very good and to lose 3/0 to that standard is very disappointing. Not expecting much from Saturday either. Big big work needed over the international break. Just need to keep above the relegation line this year - that’s the reality of the situation.
NP couldn’t sort the squad out over the summer, I have zero faith things will change over a small international break.

Incredible that people are still making excuses for him.
I just don’t know who else can fix this team

I see JP has scored again

I really don't care about 60% possession, 2016/17 season squad taught us having low possession and counter attacking football can work very well.
People are just picking the stats that fit their agenda.
I doubt Birm care about us having 60% either, not like we're tearing them up with it or anything.

I've always felt like Simpson/Downing leaving was a matter of if not when after this. They were brought in, probably sold the dream of being 'joint assistants' under an 'up and coming exciting young manager' at a big potential project. Leave their England roles for it.
Fast forward 6 months, everything is a shambles and Simpson is left as the 'lead' person to temporarily try and get us out. This interview is just a huge "what the **** have I done?" cry out. Do wonder if Pearson coming in, bringing in his own men (above them) has maybe made the two of them pretty deflated and lose a bit of motivation as it's in no way what they were signing up for...?
Don't know why but this line made me laugh. It truly was absolutely shambles and we shouldn't easily forget what a shitshow that was served up.

Don’t defend so deep and maybe we win the game
It really isn't complicated at all, this is just the answer. We were asking for it and got punished.

‘Strawman’ - ‘Strawman’ - ‘Strawman’ - this sort of terminology didn’t seem to exist until about 18 months ago - until loony snowflakes started infecting our language - do you use ‘Whataboutery’ - ‘Gaslighting’ - and ‘Virtue Signalling’ too?!
No, but I use tw_at sometimes too sorry but you walked into that one haha

No strawman argument - nowhere in my post did I intimate “we’re special ...” - I was simply responding to your post which basically said he failed at his last three jobs - he was given something like 20 odd games as Watford boss, around 40 or 50 games as Leuven boss and 14 games as Derby boss - no-one could bring success to those clubs in such short timescales ... that’s all
Also I will take my comment back about strawman, fair enough

nobody can bring success to a club in 40-50 games?! Not sure about that.
medical emergencies in the crowd

It surely must be easier for the medical staff to reach the person in need when the match isn't on. Imagine trying to reach someone when the crowd is cheering after a goal or something. I think this has become more frequent because players have been asking for the game to halt. If i remember correctly players have pointed to the crowds for the refs to pause the match.
I think it also depends on the stadium, sometimes the fans are far away and the players don't notice. I wonder if the same happened in wembley, would they pause? Surely the players/ref wouldn't see what's going on.
