I mean, if he hadn’t scored against Blackburn we would have lost, didn’t score against Swansea in the FA Cup we would be out, didn’t score against Cov… yep we would have lost…
Current form doesn’t look too rosy then does it?

I'm not sure if this is where you got your info from but a Luton fan on their forum has also said this.

Wow how refreshing, they don't seem bitter at all

Didn’t get the bite he was after so quoted his own post to try again.. I respect it in a way, the unrelenting commitment to being an arse…………..
You'd think people who have better stuff to do would not post stuff like that. But when they do, It means they really don't have anything better to do...
It gives me some peace of mind I'm nothing like that

Situation might be in his hands now if he wants to hear Palace out

He has an increasingly bright future, but i still think it's a bit of a strange purchase for them in their position.
I don't think he'll make any immediate effect for them in the prem. If they go down i'm sure he'll be a great asset to head back up.
But surely their main january business is to ensure their survival?

I didn't put that on his door, I'm just not overly romanticising about a keeper who does not want to be here. He's a good keeper that's for sure but he wasn't single handedly keeping us up we were plummeting.
But that's quite literally my point, he saved us crucial and rare points when we were plummeting, with his hands.... I worry to think how much worse it could've been if we didn't have a decent shot stopper under Holden. He was one of the small number that season who weren't shambles. The amount of shots/crosses he faced was ridiculous.
I dont think there's anything wrong with showing appreciation for a player who's left. You sound bitter over it.

We apparently rejected £10m last week, why would we accept it this week?

No really he didn't we were dropping like a stone, and I'm surprised he wasn't injured everyone else was.
I remember a few times he did great last minute saves to secure us some of those rare points that season, which were crucial near the end.
"We were dropping like a stone" is pretty harsh to put that on his door considering the amount of shite he had infront of him

Strange how he was great all the way upto NP was appointed, wonder if he didn't get on with the coaching or something. Started making a fair few mistakes.
I remember Bentley bailed us out loads during Holden era.
Imagine he was an above average earner here, could open the door for a loan before the window closes

I think 10m was a fair price, hopefully we don't regret that one and Semenyo can continue to be professional and play on

That is great to hear, but I remember hearing similar comments when there was interest in Kodjia just before he was sold.
Tho these words could just be playing chess, "pay up or f off" because we really don't want to sell

Probably the most recent would be Aden Flint and Bobby Reid leaving. Flint played a role in an exciting chapter, just felt like it was ending around then when he left. Doesn’t seem like we’ve had many characters recently. Bobby Reid had an exciting style of play which was great to watch, enhanced most players around him.
It’s weird because even though we’ve had better strikers on paper just before and after him, we still never played as good upfront when he was in the team. I haven’t been too bothered about other players leaving since them

Sounds like you would back him even if he took us down which is pretty crazy in my opinion
It's a curious thing, wonder if we went down with Nige would fans still want him in charge. Surely not

I feel like the agent was probably quite upset hearing all the chants against WBA, knowing how difficult of a job Pearson has had it.
We have certain fans, and I can name them, that are always against whatever manager we have. As soon as their 1st bad result comes they say "well I'm not sure this is the right guy" these fans are always the 1st with their "we want ... out" these fans are very vocal on local media, on social media etc etc. For whatever reason they appear to have their own agenda. I think its because they once took Woking to Chanpions league glory on Championship manager so think they could do a better job.
People follow them like sheep. I've seen the same people repeat this manager after manager. They would do the same with Pep or Klopp. I don't quite understand why they do it, probably an attention thing maybe.
There's definitely fans that are like that. But what if there's the opinion that Nige has been on the decline since 2014, and not as "proper manager" as we believe. I think it's valid, his record has been poor since, including here.
I'm going to look at the opposite side of the leaf here, there's fans that repeat "just back the manager", I think after 90 games in charge now, we've backed enough, criticism is totally allowed. I bought into giving NP time to work on a project but imo we've passed that now, I think we've gotten worse on the pitch, completely lost some of the good momentum we had last season. If fans believe NP needs 3-4 years to sort us out, fair enough, but yikes. I think everyone knows it's a hard job for anyone, but probably is for most midtable-lower champ teams atm.
I never buy into the "give the manager time to get his own team", how often does that happen in football? I remember hearing that during the LJ era, ruined us.
Maybe my view is too black/white, but I'm just not happy with what I see on the pitch, I'm sure neither is nige. Really hope we can string some results together, and bloody soon.
sorry @W-S-M Seagull went on a bit of an off rant from your post we all want whats best for city at the end of the day. Would love to eat humble pie tonight

Think that Klose has worked out.
He came in last January having had no club for 6 months, then started every single game in the remainder of the season & played a big part in our improvement.
I do think that time has caught up with him & he’s one of the 3 who have been told they’re not getting another deal, though also thought he was excellent against Preston.
Best all round if he moves on next month.
I'm not convinced myself, every penny matters at the moment when spending new. It's a 1 year contract signed in the summer (correct me if im wrong) and he's been out for most of it so far. His contract is surely to provide cover or even start in the first time as often as he could no? They might've known the potential risks and gambled, who knows. At the time his signing him made sense of course. That said, he could have his fitness again in a month or two and help out backline out we bloody need it

I’m not sure what’s happened with Klose. He played well and looked assured when he joined us last season, but he has dropped off the radar this season, despite our being short of numbers with injuries to Kalas and Naismith. Not sure why. Have his legs gone sooner than anyone anticipated?
It feels like 1 in 5 "aged" players in their careers work out for us.
Ashley Williams was the last I remember, he was fantastic. Loved his reaction when we won at Cardiff
