  1. Gotta be quite depressing to believe that Nige is getting the best performances out of the majority of these players and there's no other that could do better within our range.

So are City truly powerless to correct our current pickle? Let's say we get relegated, do we still standby Nige? How bad does it have to get

He’s rarely poor for Everton. Had a dodgy spell a couple years ago where he made a couple of mistakes but their fans think he’s brilliant. He won their player of the year last season by the way.

He is always class for England though. You see a big drop off in standards whenever any other keeper comes in I reckon.

Define accurate? Iran have only lost 2 games since 2019, they're no mugs (although I imagine like our qualifying, it's arguable what the quality of opposition is, I note they won one game 14-0!)

The problem is teams don't play enough across continents for the rankings to have a purpose when comparing say Iran to Italy (who sit in 6th).

He is no way "often poor" for Everton

Fair enough I made a poor statement there, but I meant more during last tournament he wasn't great for Everton from what I heard fans say, but a beast for England. He was dropped and the fans I knew were happy. Between the WC and Euros he made the most goalkeeping mistakes which lead to goals in the prem.

Didn't know he was player of the year last season, fairplay to him ? Happy to be corrected, "often poor" doesnt fit him now.

made you remember how good Kodja was - strong, fast, mobile and scored goals

Thought the same, not often a player receives a simple pass not far off the half way line and turns it into a goal

Pretty awful today. Except for the first 15-20 minutes funnily enough. They won pretty much every second ball which I feel is an effort thing. Our lot lost pretty much all composure in their third. Worst performance since we dropped Martin.

Funnily enough, speaking of Martin, did anyone else feel it was game over on the 66th minute when he was subbed on? Thought we were maybe finding some rhythm when NP made the subs which killed some momentum.

Whoever mentioned Kane Wilson being tired after a run is spot on. Was comical Massengo out running him whilst dribbling at QPR. Idk if I am the only one here who seen it but Wilson was having a Baywatch moment because his upper torso was moving up and down if you catch my meaning. Seems very out of shape.

This was the worry after two good performances against good sides without picking up points. The league is too unforgiving for that. Need to punish teams when you are playing better. We didn’t do that today and the first goal made the lads crumble.

Yes, I was thinking whatever the answer was to help us out, Chris Martin and Andy King weren’t it

It was always going to take time for Nige to cultivate a healthy environment throughout the entire the club. He started by off loading the dead wood left by his predecessors. He then began recruiting his coaching team and his backroom staff that he’d worked with previously, before brining in players some of whom had worked under him at other clubs.

This seasons results and performances so far seem to suggest (to me anyway) that Nige is ahead of schedule -  I was anticipating the current improvements to take at least a few months longer so I’m absolutely delighted that at last City are on the way up with a proper manager at the helm - who knows? but if the current form continues City could be looking at a top six finish………….:dunno:

Amount of times i've seen you use this phrase Robbored

Don't you think you've polished his balls enough?
