It's been a painful first 45 to watch.
Glad I've not wasted my money on QPR away if this is anything to go by.
Good goal by Kodjia though. Very well taken. Seems to be enjoying things a lot more these days
Goodness grief Andy, do you get any enjoyment from football at all?

Is this game as low-key and non-eventish as it feels on this thread?!

Yep. We barely deserve to stay up this season. Said for ages if we do stay up, it won't be because we deserve It...it will be because the other teams were ever sh*tter
Such utter bollocks. If you get more points than three other teams, you deserve to stay up. That's how the league works.

At the end of the day, a very satisfactory set of results, a step closer to mathematical safety and a league place higher. I'll take that.

Ha ha, I'm the same!
4-1 up and Rotherham now 4-0.....this is the most relaxed I've been since the full time whistle against Walsall in May!

3-0 Rotherham! We're as good as safe!

Fantastic. You'd have to say as things stand the championship relegation places are all but decided.

The game will decide. Five in defence or five in midfield?
Neither I suspect. Bryan at left back.

Might have been the case. Thought we were going for the equaliser..
It was 1-1 when Golbourne went off. An injury I suspect.

No we're not.

Glad to see Freeman starting. I might be the only one. But I'm glad.
Come on Luke, give me something to brag about later!
Disappointed that Luke Ayling chose to **** LJ's missus.
Re Ayling I assume you mean on the bench because I don't see where he fits in to the back four at the moment.

Not at all. Over the moon with it. Why would it be inconvenient?
Oh yeah of course.....I forgot.... "I want us to fail".
Behave you nugget
Of course you don't want us to fail. That wasn't my implication.
It's inconvenient because it doesn't suit your argument that we will be relegated and it will be what the board deserve, which apparently you've "been saying for weeks" - your words not mine.
-
I said before the game I'd rather we drew and MK lost, rather than we both won. Gap increased by a point and one game less to go is, ultimately, a good night.

LJ should never have been given the Job in the first place.
I've been saying it for weeks. This team will get relegated, and it's nothing more then the board and owner deserve
7 point gap to the relegation places must be a bit inconvenient for you I guess?

For club that has no club song and whose fans can't even put their heads together to adopt or write one, its quite amusing seeing rover's chants/songs being criticised. Maybe you should talk to non Bristol fans who have been to both grounds and see which they say has the best atmosphere, but you wouldn't like the answer.
I don't tend to engage with petty Rovers debate much, but this is truly laughable.
I might be wrong but I suspect "One for the Bristol City" is probably about us for starters.

Serious point, do you think the reduced AG capacity would have enticed fans to get STs and bump up the attendance in the event that if you had a good season they wouldnt be scrabbling for tickets.
How many STs did you sell out of interest?
This is an interesting point and there may be some truth in it. However, as a member rather than STH, in my experience just being a member has been enough to guarantee a ticket even this season. This is proven by the fact that all of our matches have, I believe, reached general sale, rather than sold out to members.
Since membership is a no-brainier for any fan attending more than 2 or 3 games, this does also suggest that we might not see that big an increase in attendance next season. Perhaps some STH will drop down to member level next season with the pressure on availability now gone.
I expect us to average around 16-17k unless we are pushing for promotion.

Ground capacity will be 27,000 next season. I am assuming that 'football capacity' will be more like 25,000 due to segregation. There are loads of variables like night games, atrocious weather, poor form etc but all things being equal we should attract 25,000 gates for Cardiff, Newcastle, Aston Villa and possibly QPR, Derby and Forest. Not sure we'll reach 25,000 for the mighty Burton Albion.
2,000 seats lost to segregation?! That's half the Atyeo gone! Surely no more than a few hundred.

No nerves here. With 8 games to play I'd say we're almost safe. In fact I'd be confident enough to say we will 100% stay up.
The only thing I would say is that before the Cardiff game we had an 8 point gap and less than four days later it was a 2 point gap. So we have already seen how quickly things can turn around.
I'm confident, but at the moment we are only two bad results away from another OTIB meltdown!

Happy with that set of fixtures, either MK or Fulham will drop points or both.

1974. Although that was a misplaced pass that just happened to bobble in.
Deflected as well I think, and there was uncertainty about whether it crossed the line. Apparently it shouldn't have been a free kick either.

As things stand we are currently as close to 8th as we are to the relegation places, points-wise.
Yet some will still say the only reason we have survived is because we "relied" on others.
