Possibly, you are right, but there are lot's of streaming sites showing all kinds of TV throughout the World and they seem to get away with it. I believe that Now TV was available internationally at one time, so what happened to stop it?
There was probably a change to who had the rights for international broadcast. The streaming sites you are referring to are illegal and not to be used as a barometer of what Sky can and cannot do!

I've just realised something....
NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE BAYING FOR BLOOD FOR MY LIKING!!!!
COME ON GUYS, LET'S DESTROY CARDIFF THIS EVENING!
Seriously, I've scrubbed my tip of a draw and now expect us to absolutely hammer Cardiff tonight.
I saw enough at Brighton to think that on our day we could beat any team in this division. The way we play, with the amount of chances we seem to both create and concede, I suspect our results will continue to be something of a lottery this season.
-
Unfortunately Now! Only in the UK. I just don't understand Sky, there are thousands of ex pats living all over the world, why do they throw away all this potential revenue? It's beyond me!
I doubt it's Sky's fault, obviously they wouldn't turn down another revenue stream, it's probably an international broadcast rights issue.
To echo others, I stream Now TV (via my Apple TV) and it's a very good way to watch without shelling out for a Sky Sports contract. Streaming via Apple is the only way you can get it in HD though, for those of you that care about such things.

And now the 'told you so' brigade come out.
Pathetic
Were you at the game? The "I told you so" brigade are fully justified today. A goal was increasingly inevitable as the half went on and we were lucky it didn't come soon enough for them to get a second.
-
Don't understand the mentality today. Just don't get it at all.
-
Can you imagine SL sanctioning selling one of our best players if we're still near the bottom? I just can't. Sometimes that's to his detriment. Brentford, for example, would; we often let pride/fear get in the way of rational decision making when it comes to selling players.
If Lansdown was willing to spend £9m on a further striker then he clearly there is absolutely no financial pressure to sell one for a similar figure. I cannot see Kodjia going anywhere.

Let's hope we don't sit back now.
I think there is actually an argument to say that we've lost a lot of points by being far too gung-ho. Not saying we sit back necessarily, but we need to be better at protecting leads - and if that means 11 men behind the ball, so be it.
-
In truth didn't really see today as a game we'd get anything from.
Next week is when we need to start winning.
Why are you saying things like this with 40 minutes of the match remaining?
-
A clean sheet at half time is a massive improvement.
You mean compared to our last away game, when it was also 0-0 at half time?
-
38 games to go. 114 points to play for. Endless final league table permutations. Any team could still be promoted or relegated. So can we please stop quoting Preston and Rotherham scores.

Is it the usual "caught on the break" stuff, or are we just under pressure?

Blackman again. 2 : 0
BBC says McCleary

2 down, what on earth are we up to.

I'm not there myself, so I know I can't comment. Just pointing out that criticising the home crowd is a bit ironic.
I find it ironic how we criticise anyone's attendances ever, given our average attendances over the years relative to the population of the city. But that's a discussion for another day.
Anyone able to summarise how we're playing so far?
-
What bothers me most is that thanks in large to our disastrous summer recruitment, we have completely wasted the momentum built up during one of our most successful seasons ever. Competing against bigger clubs with bigger budgets, that momentum was one of the few cards we had in our hand that others didn't, and it's gone already. Already we look like what we are; one of the smaller fish in the pond.

OK folks, voting time;
Are City where they are in the table because;
1. not good enough or
2. just unlucky?
You can't put 14 goals conceded in 6 games down to bad luck.
-
So we're 21st after today's results. Probably fair to say performances have been better than 1 win in 6, but I have to say if someone offered me 21st now I would take it. With 27k seats to fill next season, survival has never been more important to this club, so even if the squad is capable of more, I would still bite your hand off just to be in this division next season.

Any pro will tell you the biggest crime in conceding goals is doing so from set pieces, unless it's an absolutely worldy
Doesn't mean it was gifted though. I just hate how any goal we concede is entirely our fault, and any goal we score is entirely our own brilliance. Two teams playing.
-
That's because they set up with 10 men behind the ball because we gifted them two goals from corners. You're talking nonsense to suggest the formation was at fault.
We were incredibly poor defending two set pieces and that's what cost us.
Agard should have been on, there was no one running the channels in the second half
Gifted?
Two very good corners whipped in with pace and precision, difficult to defend against. Not saying we couldn't have done better but any chance we might recognise that goals we concede are not always entirely our own fault?
If we'd have scored those, we'd all be saying what a great corner and a great header.
-
Yes they were but we push forward and leave ourselves vulnerable and we have done nearly every game this season. Burnley didn't even try in the second half, and we created little.
I'm pretty certain Burnley were trying. They neutralised us very effectively, which was all they needed to do in the second half.
-
We are thoroughly on top here. Had the better of the game by far. Two corners, we switch off, two goals. Just no final product in the area on the attack despite a lot of good play, especially from Reid.
Did we switch off, or was it two exceptionally good corners and two good finishes? Conceding goal is not always about what the defending team did wrong.
-
It is true we can, but we won't. A draw would be a fantastic result now but got a feeling things could get worse in the 2nd half. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cotts walk tomorrow.
What on earth are you talking about.

I think that's a very harsh assessment. It was an instinctive header, not one he had time to plan. And he orchestrated the entire move!
