Gap to third increased to 12 points and a game fewer remaining. Still the key statistic for me. Another great day at the office!

Gap not looking quite so good... 8 pts clear of PNE but they have game in had, 10 clear of Swindle
But gap to MK increased to 12, and a home game against Swindon to come. Hardly a disastrous situation.
Winner would be lovely though!

Weird little place, most towns have some sort of business centre at their heart, Crawley just seems to be hotels...
You didn't notice the second biggest airport in the UK just next door?!

Magnificent stuff Havanatopia!

The only time you saw splashes was the area about 30 yards out from our goal.
I would have thought that would be just as much of a hindrance for them as it would for us. Strange thing to do.

Someone who was there - what's the story with the watering of the pitch? Plenty of Orient fans saying on Twitter that both ends were watered, but that it didn't really do them any favours either. Cotterill seemed to imply it was just our end.

A draw between PNE and MK on Saturday is surely now the favoured result.

10 clear of second is fantastic let's hope Chesterfield hold on
Come on Doncaster
10 clear of third. In terms of promotion rather than the title, the most important statistic.

Would love to see some equalisers against Preston and MK.
Can I claim an assist for the Chesterfield equaliser?

Early days, but 10 point gap to third as things stand. Don't worry too much about Preston, that's what really matters in the grand scheme of things.

A pretty dreadful game of football, but ultimately a very good day.
-
Definitely need a second to settle everything down a bit. Rochdale do pose a threat, no question about it.
-
How on earth was it only 1 minute added time?!

Any chance of any perspective on here today?
We lost a game of football, but there still isn't a side i'd swap situations with in this division and we are still 7 clear of third.
There will be plenty more twists and turns before the season ends, and this is just another one.

Gap to third will be maintained...not as bad as it might have been

Title winning teams don't get tonked by the likes of Colchester. MK Dons showing us how to do it again today. They don't mess about 'managing games' - they go for the jugular and kill teams off.
I fear Wembley is going to get to us. Thank god Swindon are losing at the mo.
They lost 0-3 at home to Walsall.
-
Love how we never, ever give any credit to the opposition and always assume that the only reason we are losing is because we've pressed the self-destruct button.
Could it possibly be that there are two teams playing and the other one is playing well?

Isn't Prestons record in the playoffs the worst in history? (Possibly second to ours...)
I don't see how performances by a completely different set of players under a different manager from earlier years has any bearing on how well they would do in the play offs this year.

Colchester equaliser would be lovely now

Chill out all. A poor result, but ultimately a better afternoon for us than MK or Swindon. The gap is maintained and there is one game fewer for them to catch us.

Start worrying if Beagrie says Sheffield Utd have gone off the boil.

With the form we are in, regardless of MK Dons form, I wouldn't take the draw.
I think we can beat them and I'm looking forward to it.
I agree we can beat them, but an away point against a free scoring team with one defeat in 18 would surely be hard to turn down!
