  1. Roberts for me. But you know what, i was really impressed with the pace of their left back (Bramall) Lightening quick acceleration and pace. Might be one to keep an eye on, especially if was to Pring move on over the summer.

    Sorry for going off topic.

I was wondering what yesterday would've been like for him.  Achieved promotion and then out celebrating with your team mates when you know you won't be playing alongside them next year.  Must've been a bit odd.

I guess it proves the value in the deal Derby struck.  Would they have got promoted had he not stayed there until the end of the season?

Who's to say he's the only Derby player to be off over the summer? It might look a different team and not many of his mates might be there come the new season. Plus he has Knight here too. Who knows, might not be as bad for him 🤷‍♂️

  3. I think the booing was a culmination of the stops/pass backwards/slow performance from the whole team today (complete contrast to the much improved performances recently when we've stopped playing Mannings horribly boring style). - I don't think the booing was just because of that 1 moment or aimed personally at Pring.

  4. Because in the Dolman, the design of exits is poor. Leave 1 minute before the final whistle and walk straight out or wait to the final whistle and stand waiting for 20 minutes queuing down the stairs to leave when the rest of the ground is already empty. No thanks. Plus, in addition, todays performance was horrible which didnt help.

I'll hand my super fan medal back next time i'm there. Sorry.

  5. If Leicester have done their homework on how we play (and tactics we do well against v when we don't), it should enable them to set themselves up for a win. I can only see an easy 3 points for them.

Lets face it, if Leicester get their set up wrong early and start badly, they'll likely adjust and beat us (we won't adapt during the game).

    Sad times.

  6. He has to go now - i wouldn't give him next season and i wouldn't give him a penny to spend as it would be a waste. Unfortunately though i'm not at all convinced it would improve things given those in charge. We'll end up with someone else of similar mould as Manning and be in the same mess.

God it's depressing. We're a complete mess of a club.

  7. That was awful to watch and the result has just polished a large steaming turd that needs dealing with!

Very little passion, energy, pace and no urgency. If this is Mannings style then all it's doing is taking us backwards.

Because he's still living off 1 goal in 1994, he has nothing else

    Ridiculous comment.

BT (the player) was a legend (in footballing terms) for this club and always will be.

Appreciate there are strong feelings about him now in his current role but that's out of order.

Not getting at you Matt but part of this post is totally batshit. Why in the bluest of blue hell would you give the coach the summer to “get what he needs” when we had a solid base and to “get what he needs” is ripping that up on a punt of a head coach who has to date been ridiculously incompetent in game management, delusional in how well he thinks we’re playing and got the job based on a 12 game run of form.

Getting “what he needs” is a costly gamble with no merits.

What he needs is his P45, a personality transplant and to get the hell out of the club.

Well said. This is it for me. I don't want Manning pulling this team apart and i don't want this 'given time to rebuild' excuse given to Manning as a free pass.

The quality is already there in the team to build on. What needs improving is the coaching and instructions to get the best out of them.

  10. I wouldn't be supeised if SL/JL were struggling with this and whether to seek additional help or pray he can get us to the end of the season and safety and then review. I think they would be concerned about how bringing help in/changing the structure would make their decision process look appointing him in the first place.

What, when Hamilton dominated for a spell, it’s been cyclical for quite a while now.

See yawn fest. Zero competition for Max. How is that even fun for him? As a racer, you want to be tested and actually race surely. Dull and same old F1.
