I know this will sound like a broken record but he hasn't been left with the best of tools has he. If he didn't have as bad financial restrictions we would have been able to improve the squad. Its that simple.
Seen less experienced managers do a lot better with squads similar/worse than ours. There’s literally been no improvement since he’s been here. If anything the defending is worse. I could back him more if I could see some sort of style or improvement but we’ve got absolutely nothing about us. It’s like we just make it up as we go along. Wouldn’t trust Nige to rebuild this squad.

Nothing new. Watch this football every week. Those 2 away draws might have looked alright but it’s just prolonged the shit show even longer. Can’t blame Nige for the goal but this awful football is down to him. 2 years of it now

Alex Scott will be up there.
Jesus wept I hope not. Has to be the most average pundit/presenter there is. She unfairly gets a lot of stick, she also gets far too much praise, mostly people over compensating because of the crap she gets. Truth is, she’s boring. Everything she says sounds rehearsed. Far too serious also. Need someone who can have a laugh with the other pundits otherwise you might as well watch sky sports highlights. Laura Woods literally outperforms her in every department, would much rather she get it if it “has” to be a woman because that’s the world we live in now.

In respect of Bentley perhaps I'm being unduly pessimistic but anyway.
It feels optimistic that a player who cannot getinto a lower midtable Championship side, was upgraded by Brentford in 2019, and who now has 6 months left on his deal will be picked up in January by a PL side.
The transfer market can be highly random at times but I don't really see it.
I mean the biggest club in the world just signed Jack Butland, he struggled in the championship with Stoke big time. Don’t think it’s that unlikely Palace pick up Bentley for back up. It would be pretty identical to what they did with Butland

Wouldnt say he's been a flop but compared to his loan spell hasn't hit those heights. I remember at the time we were laughing getting 15m for Kelly and buying JD for around 2-3m? I think it was. Both of them were battling it out for the left back spot and I think most of us agreed JD won that fight, but we all knew Kelly would become a CB in time. It felt back then we'd done so well getting a big chunk for Kelly and seemingly replacing him with a much better option. Think we gave Chelsea 15 million that summer for Palmer, Kalas and Dasilva... can't say we've got anywhere near value for money. Another Ashton masterclass..

Ah yes, Nixon, the man who kept insisting that Chris Kirchner was genuine and had the money to buy Derby County. I assume the cheque is still lost in the post.
Has he ever been right about a player coming to us or leaving? He’s certainly never broke the news first…. Easy to jump on once it’s known news. Never take any notice of what he says about us if he’s the first to break it anyway.

We’ve just rejected 12m from Bournemouth apparently

It’s absolute bollocks.
Probably isn’t too far from the truth tbf. Be surprised if Semenyo is happy to stay on that for another 18 months. Makes sense for him to either sign a 3 year deal or force a move away

We don’t need a win and a performance. They’ve already done that this season and then gone back to being utter dross. We need genuine change, an identity, a tighter defence, players who can keep the ball for longer than 15 seconds, CB’s in defence and not midfielders, our top scorer from last season not playing at right back. Whatever happens tonight, unless it ends with him being sacked. Nothing will change and we’ll enjoy league 1 footy next year

John Terry more likely if we’re going down that route. Gerrard won’t drop below a top 5 division now
-
The same Massengo who has one good game followed by 3/4 none existent performances? But you know what… I agree. Don’t think I’ve seen Joe Williams have a decent 90 yet.

Think they need to go about it preparing for both outcomes. We need someone who can hopefully set us up to keep us in the league but can then also set about making us challenge again. Or it could be a case of the damage is done now and nobody can keep us up, in which case whoever is brought in needs to be able to win league 1 next season. Either way it can’t be a temporary fix. Who that man is…. Not a scooby doo. I know it’s not Pearson though. It’s definitely relegation with him.

I'm probably more frustrated with Euell and Flemming than I am with Pearson.
At least Pearson holds responsibility for some off-field matters too, and seems to have made progress with them. By comparison, the coaches have seemingly offered little to nothing.
I’m not saying I want Euell. I’ve just got to the point now where I’d rather see him than Pearson in charge. Obviously we need someone better.
-
At this point I’d rather see what Jason Euell can do. Had enough of this now.

We paid Harrod's prices but got Lidl quality in most cases.
Clearly haven’t sampled Lidls bakery then. I’d pay harrods prices for what they dish out.

Good news. I’d imagine we’re losing Semenyo in the summer, should he not want to renew. Martin will be off and whilst I see Bell has potential. He probably needs to be loaned out for the season. So just leaves us with Conway and Weimann, so Wells signing is much needed considering we probably wouldn’t be able to bring in someone as good as him. Just need to get a few others tied down and a few sold. Hopefully if we can manage to survive we’ll have the backbone of a half decent team. Just don’t trust the manager to sign the right ones.

Same old same old. Pearson out.

Just have to hope there is 3 worser teams come the end of the season. Embarrassing that this is the sort of performances they put in time and time again.
-
How have we not scored there Jesus…
-
Semenyo could of been beheaded and we wouldn’t of got anything. Pointless going down

It’s like this is the first time our players are meeting. Absolutely painful watching

We honestly needed that win today. Not for the league position or confidence. Purely for selfish reasons. No matter what happens tonight I can be somewhat happy. Now for another 3-1 win tonight.

That’s called having a bit of form not improvement. Ain’t no good having a few good games then going straight back to boring, hopeless football. Holden got the boot for doing a better job than this.
