Yeah have to give him credit. Massive improvement this season, certainly earning that new contract.
-
Well he’s kept his job a few weeks longer. Boring game.

These are definitely here for the taking. Need to put it on them.

Either going to be a boring low score draw or we’re getting dicked.

Sadly I don't think Maddison will get in.
He’s going.

We'll be safe come the end of this season
I’m sorry what are you basing this on exactly? West Brom won’t be relegated. They will sort it out. We’re in VERY big danger of getting relegated. We’ve been dragged right in to it, which is no surprise. I’d say it’s very much 50/50 for us now, so please stop with this foolish “we’ll be safe” because it’s a load of old shit, much like the current team from staff to players.

He won’t walk but it wouldn’t be the worst idea for us to part ways with him after the Watford game if we lose badly. Only if we could bring someone in quickly, that way the new manager will have a kind of “pre season” during the tournament to sort things out.

Get Mark Robins in.
Would rather try for Steven Schumacher

Hahahaaaaa it’s actually pathetic. From another set piece. What the hell are they doing in training?

Always the managers fault isn't it?
Never the actual players?
This always makes me laugh.
Jesus wept you can’t be this thick surely. Shouldn’t have to spoon feed you. I never said it’s ALL his fault but funny enough, being a MANAGER means you MANAGE the team. So when things don’t go right, yes the players take some responsibility but so does the MANAGER.

Why blame Pearson? He's had f all money and yet is expected to work miracles?
Stop making out like he’s blameless ffs!! It’s his job to manage the team and train the players he has. He’s been here long enough now to atleast have us playing decent football/defensively solid. Less experienced managers with far less money at clubs deemed smaller than ours have had more success in 2 years than Nige has. This excuse of it’s not his fault because he’s had no money is getting tedious now.

Nope we don’t look like a relegation team, we are an inconsistent team but not a poor one, get the consistency back and we’ll be fine.
That can literally be said of every team in and around us (bar Coventry) the reason teams finish 13th-19th is inconsistency and a bit of luck there are 3 worse teams. There’s no way after watching the last 10/11 games you can sit there comfortably and say “we’ll be fine”. It’s going the same way as last season I’m afraid, let’s hope we get the same amount of luck with those below us again.

VERY lucky to get the point, was an awful performance but did well to see it out in the end. Referee bit of a joke but it’s safe to stay Nige don’t play that team/system again.

Martin playing left wing is a joke. He’s only good for tap ins and headers now. Takes away from the only thing he can offer

Well those subs scream settling for the point. Which I wouldn’t be against if we were decent defensively. Seems whenever we sit in we concede.
-
Martin and Bell up top now isn’t looking good for us…. Do well to keep it at 1-1
-
Nice bloke but should have never of got the job and was rightly sacked. The football was no better than it was under Johnson, was literally exactly the same which was to be expected seeing as he was part of the original problem. Everyone else could see it apart from Ashton and the lansdowns. Hopefully he goes on to have a successful career but to dwell on what life would have been like if he’d stayed is weird considering how bad it was. It’s hardly got better all these years on either.

It’s all about opinions, but I think we need Kalas back to play with Atkinson and Vyner. With the number of goals being conceded we need some solidity at the back. Naismith has played in just about every position, except goalkeeper, so play him as a defensive midfielder
Naismith made mistakes granted but he was Luton’s best defender in a play off finishing team. We can see his quality, he’s a good defender imo and we are A LOT better with him in the team, when he was playing we actually looked some what decent. Now we look like poverty . Think he’d be even better with Kalas alongside him.

Very frequent of City in recent times. If they say short term or 10 days or anything of the like, just assume 6 months.
Yeah they were a lot more open and clear about things when Nige first took over as it was a problem highlighted by the fans we felt left in the dark over certain stuff. End of the day we have the right to know how long our players are out for. If he’s out until after the World Cup just come out and say it. Lifts pressure off the likes of Klose then as we know he’s all we’ve got.
-
And on the flip side we should be miles ahead of the likes of Luton, Bournemouth, Millwall, Preston and Rotherham. I said it after the Millwall game I think Nige isn’t the man for the job, still stand by that. Even predicted us to beat either WBA or Reading because we are just that inconsistent. We haven’t improved, we just play better in some games. That isn’t improvement, that’s just us being better than the other team on the day. What we seen today is what we’ve seen from day 1 under Nige. Not convinced he’s the guy to rebuild this team in the summer once we lose half the first team. Would love to be wrong but I’d put good money on us having a new manager this time next season.

Sorry if it’s been said and I’ve missed it but I thought Nige said it was a 10 day injury? Jesus wept we need him back in the defence. Don’t rate Klose at all, he can do a job but don’t think he should be starting consecutive games. Be great to see Kalas and Naismith back there, hopefully sometime soon.
The Importance of being Andi.
