  1. I’d say he was mad to even go there in the first place but if anything it was an incredibly smart move. If he gets sacked it doesn’t dent his reputation and he still gets paid his full wage. Watford are an absolute basket case of a club. Nice to see them and West Brom struggling. Hopefully they no longer take up top 6 places. Gives the likes of us a better chance at least. Norwich next please.

If it is contractual it is actually baffling. Kalas, Dasilva, Wells, Bentley, Max, Vyner and Klose are all out of contract and around the team.

We haven’t offered them deals I expect as a rebuttal but presumably because we will not be offering them equal terms so why bother until we and they know their market? That goes for HNM too. We don’t know his market yet because of covid and finances. Why is he being singled out?

As far as form, he hasn’t been at his best. Neither have many others though either. Weimann sees 90 min regardless of how he is playing. Williams can’t complete passes outside of 5 yards. Sykes and Dasilva bang average at best. We say HNM is in poor form because he doesn’t always reach the levels HE has set. You notice a 6/10 performance more from him than you will Matty James or Joe Williams because they won’t give you a 9 or 10 from 10 performance.

I don’t really mind how the team is ran. I just don’t like being told one thing about a player and then you look over at someone else and the same is not being applied. We are not in a position to be pissy about a contract when the player can help us to more points.

The thing with Massengo is he gives more 5/10 performances than Williams or James. Both of them will probably give you 7/10 most weeks so they are consistent, whereas HNM gives you a 10/10 for one game and goes missing for the next 5 appearances, he’s constantly in and out the team. I’ve no doubt he’ll have a good career after us but I don’t rate him half as much as some do on here. Don’t think we’ll hear much of him once he leaves us, he’ll just be an average player wherever he goes… bit like Eliasson.

Weimann is out of form at the moment, no doubt, but who on earth do we bring in if you leave him out? The thing with him is that he works hard, makes runs and angles, and we haven’t got anyone remotely like him. I’d keep him in the side, as much due to lack of alternatives as anything else.

I think the opposition would be delighted if we dropped him as well.

Weimann still has a massive part to play this season but you can see he needs a break. You put Sykes there and finally get rid of him at RWB. That’s another massive problem imo, Sykes is much better when we’re attacking, dreadful defensively. I’d try wells and Conway again with Sykes behind and Tanner back in at RB. We also need a change of formation, ridiculous that we have to start from scratch again 3 months in to the season.

I know I get slaughtered for it but I genuinely cannot remember a manager who has got away with as much as this one.

2 years almost - and our defending is just as bad now as it was when he arrived. Embarrassing

The bloke talks a great game, and everyone laps it up, “he’s such an intelligent coach blah blah “ - but the reality is very little has improved in his time here.

Get a coach in who can actually improve us please

Genuinely  not seen anything since he’s been here to have confidence he’s the right guy. It’s been terrible from day one. He got a free run at the end of that first season as we were in free fall but 2022 has been diabolical. It can’t go on any longer, not getting fooled anymore by a few good games. We’ll go best WBA now and people will forget until the next inevitable shit show. We need someone fresh in who can change the style of play, we’ve got plan A and that’s it.

Speaks a person who has no idea what they’re talking about.

ivr mentioned before, A lad in our team came out to us, I had hours of in depth chats with him and it’s ******* horrifying what he went through and how he was treated by the few people in his life that he had opened up to.

It’s not so much about announcing it, it’s about not having to hide it anymore.

Your immature comments sum it up really, sexuality is much more than sex. Perhaps when people like yourself grow up and don’t enable childish comments and attitudes thrn more people will feel comfortable being who they are and it won’t be a big deal any more. I had to report someone just last week in a game because he decided to call me a faggot, I’ll stand up against that language all day long.

Apologies if that’s a bit strong but it’s something I care greatly about.

You’re mixing up coming out to those around you personally compared to announcing it on Twitter. Don’t be calling me immature because I feel someone being gay isn’t a big deal anymore. I’ve grown up with it and accepted it as everyday life. Someone telling me they are gay is exactly the same as them telling me they are vegan. I couldn’t care less, not because I don’t respect or value it but because it’s irrelevant. I know the enormity of the situation to the individual, I’ve had family members come out as transgender and I’ve  supported them because well.. why wouldn’t I. Truth is the sooner the world has a “I don’t care” attitude to peoples sexuality the better it will be for everyone. People will just go about their lives being who they are with no need for it to be an event.

Ironically this apparently isn’t even true and is Iker trolling the media for constantly hounding him about the number of women he’s been seen dating.

  6. If it’s true…. Who gives a shit. Can’t believe we live in a world still where people have to public announce what gender they like sticking their love sausage in. Just crack on with it. Nobody cares, apart from maybe granny and grandads but they’ll be planted soon anyway.

  7. Don’t see a problem with it. Neither should anyone else. Keep your nose out of peoples lives. He’s perfectly entitled to put what he’s up to on his social media. We aren’t Man City, we’re going to lose a lot of games. He’s probably had things booked up with friends and now he’s enjoying a night out with them. Do you want him to post a picture of him crying in the shower listening to Coldplay because we lost a game of football? It’s not that deep, just reeks of jealousy.

I just went to do your survey, but I feel I couldn’t answer it accurately, I have zero interest in the womens game, so some of the questions have responses that I feel don’t reflect my feelings.

I have no interest in women's professional football except for big tournaments like Euros or World Cup.

My answer isn’t covered by the selections, I have no interest in the womens game full stop, I didn’t see any of the womens Euros, nor would I watch a womens World Cup.

Yeah I was the same. Felt like disagree meant I’d watch all the games and agree was I’d watch only the big ones when in truth I’d rather watch soccer aid, and that’s a struggle to watch even though it’s a much better quality of football ?

Jesus no.  Let them leave.  There is much better value for money elsewhere.

Really? I mean we need a SQUAD not just a first 11. Those 3 players aren’t really the problem. If they were part of the 18 man first team for next season nobody is complaining. Certainly isn’t better value for money considering the alternative would be freebies. Did well getting Naismith, doubt we’d get a better keeper or left back on a free. Kalas imo you pups be the one that would get a better club than us, everybody else is getting Millwall, Coventry, Hull, Luton kind of moves.

Please provide us with a better alternative. He’s clearly a better option than what weve got

What makes him a better option? We see it time and time again where a manager has success with 1 club then fails everywhere else. There are the odd ones out like Warnock/Bruce but majority of the time the managers that have success elsewhere don’t find it again. We need to find our own Wilder/Hughton/Pearson.

  11. I think Bents, Kalas and JD will all stay on. We’re their level, they won’t get better than us only the same. So depends on how settled they are in Bristol vs a bigger wage offer elsewhere. HNM I think we all know will be heading out, most likely abroad. Scott and Semenyo will 100000% be sold to bring in funds for the rest that will leave. I’d imagine Vyner and Wells will be offered deals on reduced wages. Don’t think it’s as bad as it looks there. Question is who we want building this new squad… I’d want a new manager for it myself, don’t trust Nige to build a team.
