  1. Does anyone know if the final tomorrow is being streamed on Somerset's youtube? I think it's on Sky in the UK but not sure if it's available abroad?

Edit. Seems to be sportsmax showing it here. Might phone around some bars...although 5am start is punchy.

To be fair to them, it's much more important where they end up rather than certain places they are. Walsall spent over a month in the top 6 and went down. So I don't really see why that's a means of criticism. When they went down in 2016 and went down in 2014 they'd barely been in the promotion and relegation spots all season.

To be fair to me I merely stated a fact. If you decide to interpret that fact as criticism well that is your own mind at work.

Have we ever used the Mem in any of our marketing videos?

Dont think so, don’t think we need to.

Needy Gas stalkers, I wonder what they’re going to use our stadium as advertising for next? ?

I think it has featured in some of the videos from our charitable arm, the Community Trust. They do an awful lot to help out struggling lower tier football in the city.

Just had a Fewer come into work pleased as punch ‘da gas r staying up and da shit are staying down’ obviously that’s as good as it gets for those morons, scraping relegation by the skin of their teeth in a piss poor division, then the highlight of their season is to see us fail.

Finishing within the top 30 clubs in one of the world's top footballing nations. Finishing in (probably) the highest league position for 11 years. This is failing.

Would have taken that off 50 overs tbh!

Over 50 overs we'd have surely seen a record score? rr of 9.05 x 50 is 452.5 so round that 453. Would that beat their OD record?

Edit: Wikipedia shows: Highest Total For: 413/4 v Devon at Recreation Ground, Torquay, 1990

embraced by the EFL, and make it a cup worth winning again

Random idea and haven't fully thought this through. What if the FA and EFL scrapped the EFL trophy. But then scrapped Prem teams from the League Cup. Essentially blend the EFL Trophy and League Cup and then rebadge it as the "EFL Cup", only open to the 72 EFL teams. None of the Prem teams care about the LC anyway.

  8. It's a very sad story, I guess the search is now looking for bodies to bury. That will of course mean a lot to both families.  You can understand why the official search had to end, there will be other ships, planes and people that need the help of the official coastguard and rescue services. Good luck to the new searchers.

No club in this country has ever actually gone AFAIK except by merger (Bristol Southend and Bedminster).  Aldershot and Bradford Park Avenue are still plugging away.

If they lose their ground then it's back to Twerton or the new Bath Rugby ground due 2021.

As long as it has even a few hundred supporters who are going to pay to watch a club then that club will continue in some form.

Didn't Hereford properly disappear? Yes there's now a Hereford 2.0 but I thought they genuinely 'went'.

Ah yes, I thought we’d hit top spot for a short while last season.

Still, the point is that in my 30 years supporting City, the only people to get us as high as we currently are are LJ & GJ.

We were also technically top of the Championship after the first game of last season I think. 3-1 win, and then above QPR on goals scored.

But your point is still valid, and I am being a pedant.
