I believe Cardiff’s view is that the contract signed was rejected by the FA and that he was due to sign an amended one on arrival.

It's a technicality. He was their player and they know it.

    Where?

    or when?

    (serious question btw)

Where - somewhere between the LJ going and MA going….probably MA going if I’m being honest. Absolute Charlatan.

When - probably next summer when the contracts of all those players are either renegotiated or complete, and we are genuinely with Pearson’s players, I.e. the ones he wants, not those he inherited.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks. I did mean when.

I'd argue that that is too long though. All managers have to deal with players they don't want. Many managers have to deal with a lack of funds.

Pearson has signed lots of players he does want and has a number of very useful inherited players. He has to take some responsibility for the way we continue to drop points from winning positions, the way we sit deeper and deeper and invite pressure - which is surprising given the way he was as a player.

But never went more than 4 games winless.

    Progress is slow.

I enjoy it more than boom and bust of the previous regime….that failed in its objectives…because that’s why they kept getting another player….just one more Steve, one more, then we’ll be alright.  We kidded ourselves.  They conned SL and us fans….and we harp back to it and great.  It wasn’t.  It was a disaster that caught up with us.

Where do you draw the line under the previous regime?

  4. "Good afternoon,

You have recently contacted us to explain your season ticket hasn’t arrived.

We have received a batch of season tickets that were unable to be delivered, and your tickets were in this batch.

You can pick these up on Saturday from 10.30am at the ticket office.

Please note if you have received an E-ticket for the Sunderland game, this will remain valid on Saturday and your season ticket will not work.

    Kind regards,

For anyone in the same boat as me, not attending the Sunderland game, I have asked if they can be collected on the evening of the Luton game or if they can be posted out.

I still haven't received mine and spoke with supporter services this morning.

In my case, I had an old address on the system (over 6 years back) and they explained that in a small number of cases some cards have been sent to previous addresses in error (issue with the mailing process).

They have therefore deleted the old address so that it does not happen again and arranged for a reprint of the season card to be sent out this week.

Should get it by the end of the week hopefully.

    Thanks for this.

I had the same issue. Despite updating my address, they have sent it to my old one.

Well it seems that my relatively modern diesel car is fine everywhere except for in Birmingham; £8 per day.  And Bristol; £9 per day.

Though if you're coming in from the south and don't go wrong then it isn't a problem.  The Clean Air Zone is in blue.

My diesel car is chargeable for the CAZ, but my petrol car is not.

However, for vehicle tax, which is based on emissions, the diesel is £30 and the petrol £135. Presumably I have Schrödinger's cars as they each manage to be both dirty and clean at the same time.

I’ve been guilty of doing just that. The problem is some things you can share in a way that can’t lead back to you, or whoever told you.  When you add the detail it becomes more problematic.

The problem is that it comes across as a sort of schoolground "I know something and you don't and I'm not going to tell you".

What's the name for a young robin, obvious name for the junior reds isn't it?

There is no specific term given for baby robins and instead follow the typical naming conventions of other baby birds: Chick or Hatchling. Fledgling.
