  1. She should definitely ask Henbury for a reference. Only last week did he have both the chief constable AND the Home Secretary in his shop, they wanted him to repair every bit of technology they have and also ask his advice on all manner of things.
  2. All the more amusing when Taylor was injured and they kept going on about how he was crap and couldn't get in the side... overlooking the fact we were scoring well at the time. They sign a replacement who even though he hasn't scored in a year keeps getting selected because they have no alternative options.
  3. Well I hope the dogs record this gift on their register of interests! Sounds like it was more significant that a small group if people running towards another small group of people, then running away again before encouraging the other group to attack them before they then ALL ran away, only to then update FaceSpace with a completely embellished account of what happened. Glad the doggies are okay.
  4. Maybe @Stortz and myself will appear on a most wanted list.
  5. I have been in a few pubs today and bowed out gracefully in order to miss the disorder. I would guess that further scenes will occur as this evening progresses, certainly the last pub I was in saw a good ten or fifteen appear as a group wearing Italian knitwear and making a lot of noise. They will take some shifting if they decide they are comfy in that particular pub.
  6. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/live-rovers-oxford-united-clash-2130738 Disorder.
  7. So Rovers didn't turn up for the fight, but Daryll sent his elite unit out instead.
  8. Bit of an edge to Gloucester Road round about half five onwards, pleased I didn't stay out beyond half seven, can see it being a challenge later.
  9. It's better. The minced texture makes it easier to pass.
  10. No, I was the refined gentleman eating a breakfast and having a coffee. Currently, I am in William Hill having just had a pre match punt. Give it an hour or two and I'll be in the pub. #MakingStalkingEasy
  11. I was in the Blue Lagoon earlier, all was quiet. Probably because it was breakfast time.
  12. The window nutter was waiting for his mum to iron his stone island jumper.
  13. I think he preferred the name Nick Higgs.
  14. He might have paid for his own ticket and gone to the game as a supporter, he might have gone as a guest. Will find out in due course when the register of interests next gets updated.
  15. So they could by Rovers for an overly inflated price, £9999 too much.
  16. The following is taken from Wiki, would appear he cost far less than a Tilson, but possibly had greater mobility. The original robotic Dusty Bin, and his Yorkshire Terrier, Dog Garbage, was put together by Ian Rowley, in his converted chapel workshop in Rodley, Leeds. He used over 73 microprocessors, which was cutting edge 1980s remote control robotic technology in that day, at a cost around £10,000 to manufacture – which was a small fortune in those days – to control Dusty and Garbage, and in 151 shows, some of Dusty's & Garbage's antics included dressing up as a caveman and dinosaur, bullfighting as a matador and bull, dressing up as a baby, driving into the studio in a Ford Model T, juggling balls like a clown, playing the piano like Elton John, flying round the studio with a James Bondjetpack, escaping from chains like Harry Houdini, riding a bike, spraying Ted Rogers with paint and even driving a tank into the studio, to bomb the audience with confetti.
  17. One thing that doesn't add up with talk of a land swap deal... Well, two now I think of it. Building student accommodation for UWE students would surely be better for both the students and UWE if it were based AT UWE. Why would UWE want to take on the cost of demolishing a stadium as part of any development they might be involved with? Oh, suppose this does raise the question as well, with most student accommodation being built by private companies rather than traditional halls of residence, what is in this for UWE
  18. I think we can go one step further and give him a Blue Peter badge for getting that lad they signed for 'almost a Tilson' performing so poorly he hasn't scored in about 9 billion matches.
  19. Crisps reaching their best before date again?
  20. Love that turn of phrase. Consider your post ENDORSED!
