  1. They did, but these days they are serving Iceland prawn rings on account of the blue few attempting to bring down Sainsbury's.
  2. Haven't they also frozen prices? Meaning they are already charging that for basement football.
  3. I think it's the ambiguous thread title that causes people to read this thread in error.
  4. Yeah. They miss understood some northerners and thought they'd be able to get high using this method. They wrongly assumed that doing this would give them a 'rave' type feeling. Idiots. Any fool knows that the northerners use MDMA before rubbing #EeByGum #Tenuous
  5. Whilst there might be a hint of disappointment on here if Rovers secure a second promotion, who can forget the joy that was their open top bus tour. It was the outpatients at Dignitas.
  6. Not wise at all. That said, it depends what sort of deal they get offered. Apparently last time it was a KFC bargain bucket family deal to share, with Wally being a gazzillionare, he might push the boat out and go to Boots for the meal deal.
  7. I'm at Forest Green vs Woking. I'm gutted. They must have run out of those 50/50 scarves. I really wanted a memento of the occasion.
  8. Can't wait for their next bus tour celebration. Wally will be there, '23 days riders please drive. And tell us where the most people are, last time they tried this they didn't see anyone at all'.
  9. Apparently, the new stadium they want will be built free of charge. All Wally has to do is to leave 5 million on deposit and use the 10% Return to generate half a million a year in interest to pay for it. Which is why they want investors, to pay the up front costs. Because clearly, if Wally can get 10% on his savings, investors will be looking for a much lower return on a higher risk strategy. Gas Logic. I fully expect one of them to be the next Icelandic PM.
  10. Well that isn't exactly true is it. Pretty sure a certain Italian club got demoted a few divisions for bribing officials so their league position was inflated.
  11. They'll probably claim that Wally could pay for the stadium, but it is a much better option to borrow money and pay interest on a loan.
  12. http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/6604/box-1 So much money they won't be looking for external funding for their new bowl. Oh, wait a minute....
  13. I thought that Irene song was originally adopted by Plymouth fans and then you put your heads together, established you couldn't write your own song, considered adopting one and then deciding it would be easier to copy Plymouth.
  14. Yeah he was, but only for the last 20 minutes.
  15. Maybe the more criminally minded amongst you could start shoplifting from Tesco, but leave the products in Sainsbury's. That would show the Gashead who seems to be advocating shop lifting from Sainsbury's in an act of petty revenge what for!
  16. Thought the Judge said 'that's yer lot'? That said, if they are thinking of taking this to Diana Ross is can only mean one or two things. 1/ They are short of the fund to pay the legal fees and want to buy time. 2/ Actually the sale of the Mem is far more financially significant than Wally has been saying.
  17. Love this post on Gaschat Not a surprise, still think Sainsbury's are also loser in this whole business as the store would have been a gold mine and they would have made good money there, shame they are too short sighted to see that. One thing is guaranteed I will never spend any money in their stores and I am sure lots of other people in Bristol have either cut back their visits or will continue to boycott them. If they buy Argos I will boycott them as well. If only that Gashead would have told Sainsbury's that this new store would have been a goldmine they'd have never pulled out of the deal. Despite them employing all manner of retail analysts who came to the conclusion that the store wouldn't be a goldmine some bedroom retail expert knew more.
  18. So exactly the same as someone living in the UK with shares in an overseas company then.
  19. This is the thing I find confusing. SL doesn't live here and neither does he work for HL (as far as I know), he is just a shareholder. So I'm a bit confused about the tax dodger shout.
