  1. From split lip to shit tip. Head on over.
  2. Still, if it a genuine statement and they are going to spruce up the Mem, now is a good time to buy shares in Go Outdoors, the tent speculation market has never been more appealing.
  3. When did you sign 'Best Wishes?' I don't think he's as good as 'fond regards', but then again, you are in the lower leagues.
  4. I assume the bloke on the left in the second row is bald.
  5. Ah, the main crew from their Twerton days...
  6. Has the winner of the raffle lost their ticket?
  7. I remember when a 'shed' end was to be feared. That lot will probably offer to jet-wash your decking rather than deck you.
  8. The Horse is still poorly. Apparently it has the trotts.
  9. You know that league one teams aren't made up of police horses. #GasFight
  10. 'Wally the camel fiddler' made me laugh. That's all.
  11. You overlooked a key point here. #gaslogic
  12. Surely though to develop the youth team would require significant investment, otherwise a club with a higher classed authority (like City for example) could just nick your better young players for coins rather than notes. And now you are playing league one the chances of getting first team regulars from your youth set up is even more difficult as the standard is higher.
  13. Wouldn't worry about that. He has added a load of salaried directors to the board of his loss making football club. They'll make all the difference. And if they don't, what's another half million a year to such a wealthy football club? #gaslogic
  14. I would love to give this many likes.
  15. That would require someone to register, and with our new PM being all about cyber snooping I don't know anyone who'd want that sort of subscription known.
  16. Or in lower league terms, not wealthy enough to keep an out of contract striker who hasn't been snapped up by anyone else.
  17. Wally's Family Wealth Apparently Dad Wally owns less than 20% of the bank with Wallys Junior holding smaller percentages. Guesstimate the family wealth to be under a hundred million. Wealthy collectively, yes. Able to fund a new stadium and invest significantly on the training ground, academy and first team? Probably not.
  18. Brilliant isn't it. With Sterling at a low people should be falling over themselves for a bargain investment. Not Wally, and none of his mates.
  19. I heard the Gas Hit Squad legged it from a B&Q when they were approached by a pensioner in an orange apron by the outdoor living solutions aisle. Word is, the old timer asked them if they wanted 'decking' and they all ran away.
  20. They are hoping for writing next year.
  21. Shortly after they've finished updating the big-top. #WallysFlyingCircus
  22. Given Wally refuses to write a cheque so small as to pay for a stadium, I assume that at some point they will have to sell the Mem to part fund their new one. Won't this lead to another couple of years delay as planning permission, objections and community status claims are all made?
  23. Rovers have got a bit ahead of themselves by issuing a statement on the EU Referendum. Does Wally know that they are in League 1 and not the champions league?
