Or away games for that matter..

You sure? I keep hearing they are amongst the best travellers in the country? (No pun intended) strange they never seem to mention their shit home support, you know the one that really matters, where they own club profit?

So has Porsmouth fan, too scared to admit he's a R*vers fan just done celebrating taking more to QPR than them 82'ers? I wonder what little Weezleble thinks about only taking 500 to a game just outside London?

Just ask him, if their away support is so great, why don’t they bother to turn up to their home games?

  3. why on this earth would anyone want to purchase them?

One of if not the most pointless tinpot club in the whole of football, if the rumours are to be true loads of the make believers are already crowing about a new training ground and UWE being back on, will they ever learn?

    Fk Em.

  4. If someone is stupid enough to take them over then I personally can’t wait for all the new videos and comments to come from the fewers on how they are going to bypass us on their way to the Prem, when their new owner promises them the world and they lap it up as usual.

Apparently the small celebration has been delayed by technical issues and won't now be delivered until January. A temporary celebration is being sourced and will hopefully be ready for October.

Their problem being is that they will actually need people to turn up to the Mem for a change.

A post from Sagchat, unbelieveable for a so called ‘professional’ football club......

In October 2018 we will be 'remembering' 60 years ago ( North stand 1958) the last time we constructed a stand. This is a record in all 5 divisions and a small celebration will be held in the space of the proposed family stand.

    North stand October 1958 - October 2018  ( 60 years ) .

    There’s more.......

And they only half finished that!!

Edit: the last stand built which ran the length of the pitch was built over 90 years ago - the South Stand.

I guess some things never change.

TBF more and more of them seem to be seeing the light nowadays and are beginning to realise they are getting seriously ****** over.

Will we see protests in the near future do we think or will they just bend over and take it like they always do?

    Sags and a protest? ?

They’ll bend over, take it and ask for more that lot.

They are trying seriously hard to convince themselves that some bloke called Ed Ware is going to buy the mem and what's left of their club then provide a stadium for them somewhere, supposedly Filton. I don't see how the sums work? Buy a bit of land, spend money clearing it, more money building houses which would make a profit. But where does the £££ for both the land in Filton and the building of any methanarium come from plus what happens to all the debt charged against the stadium of canvas?

In some of their tiny little minds they just expect someone to gift them a stadium, they have been so hard done by over the years, didn’t you know? personally I’m just astounded that no one has came forward and provided them with a 100,000 all seater arena, they are the most bestest and most loyal supporters in the country after all, or so they like to tell everyone anyway, how no one has seen their HUGE potential and taken advantage of this I’ll never know.

An indoor arena, as in most major cities in this country could surely NOT be used as a football stadium? There's a thread on their drivel where some nutter is saying they use it on Saturdays etc etc. It would have to be one hell of a size to incorporate a full size football pitch wouldn't it? :dunno:

Will never happen, just the Sags being Sags trying to jump on the bandwagon and wanting something for nothing as always.

I thought there was a summary given by @JulieH on the other thread that was started around that time? Or did I imagine it?

EDIT: This is what she posted on July 23rd,

    ________________________________________________________

    As requested an update:

    1) as previously stated I visited henbury gas in company with another football officer before we popped down to wsm for the game v Cheltenham. We were allocated to football duties for the shift so we’re not wasting any police time !

    2) we spent approx 40 mins with him and as a result then spent another 20 mins with another Male who could give relevant information.

    3) the fact concluded is that neither Male are witnesses to an assault at Ashton gate stadium . There is no cctv or any other evidence from security staff at Ashton gate regarding an incident of this nature.

    4) information was given in relation to a male complaining of having been assaulted to both these males at some point at Ashton Gate stadium.

    5) unfortunately there is not enough information to trace the alleged victim at this time , no surname known and limited information re address. Enquires also made with Bristol rovers ticket office which at this stage are negative.

    6) the conclusion is that at this stage there is no evidence of a criminal assault taking place at Ashton gate stadium on this Male however injuries to his face and an explanation by him as to how they occurred was noted by 2 witnesses, one of which is entirely independent and not connected as a fan to either football club.

    7) we have noted in Avon and Somerset this occurance based as previously stated that a criminal offence could have happened, enquires are continuing to try and locate the alleged victim however this will also need to be done as carefully as possible putting the victim first

? I spoke at length to henbury gas regarding letting the police now deal and for no further publication of these allegations which he agreed to do .

I fully appreciate that not a lot has been answered however it is difficult without finding the victim or any witnesses to any form of assault.

my hope is that this can be put to bed now by both sets of fans, my team and I will continue to try and find the victim and I hope that both sets of fans realise that he has to come first and this Must be dealt with in a sensitive manner .

i am off on leave after today for 2 weeks so will try to answer as much as I can before I go, but it continues to be an ongoing investigation so I will still be limited as to what I am able to report .
    __________________________________________________________________________________

I guess it does say there will be further updates, but I can't see how it will progress without someone coming forward and claiming to be the victim, the one bit that seems proved is that no ticket was issued to an injured party?

    In other words....

Holloway has always been Rovers, my old man used to play county football with him & lived on the same road, Holloways mum still lives there. My dad was playing for the u16s at the time, Holloway was in the same team when he was 12.

Sadly his mum passed away earlier this year.

The mighty gas scrape 1000 for the game at Wycombe today.

We've already sold more for our trip to qpr which is further away, on a Tuesday night an televised...

But they obviously have much better support than us

Tbf that’s not bad for the fewers, however they let themselves down how they crow about what a ‘legendary’ following they have when infact its shite and it’s only themselves who think they have this great away following, just look at how piss poor their home attendances are.

    Loyal and true??? ??

All the league 1 teams have played at home now and Sunderland, Portsmouth, Bradford, Coventry, Barnsley, Luton, Plymouth and Charlton had bigger crowds than the "bestest fans in the world" could muster up, as they say they have "outgrown the mem" ????

Of course they have, if I’m not mistaken they have only ever had about 4 or 5 complete sell outs? Most of those were verses ourselves.
