I assume you don’t mean of relegation considering we need one more win. No point making up false scenarios of trouble
I remember another team thinking they couldn't get relegated from an impossible position!

Ah yes, bottles of piss and bricks. Lovely ... not.
Like we haven't done the same, some interesting recepticals were definitely arrowed towards Cardiffs escorts from the Wedlocks beer garden and st Mary redcliffe estate back in the day, apparently someone saved two weeks of their dogs shit to hurl at a Cardiff police escort!

The crowd responds to what happens on the pitch, nothing to get excited about thus far
Thanks for letting me know, I've only been watching football for 40 years and yeah to an extent but it's a derby(ISH) and that's technically not true all the time or at least it shouldn't be!

This, tbh.
Atmosphere sounds poor too but could just be the way it’s carrying on TV. Can hear Cardiff occasionally but not a lot for a derby.
Cardiff commentators saying how bad the atmosphere is, can't argue with that.

Save % of below 60% for the season is dreadful though. Admittedly from only 4 games so a limited sample size, but his stats are pretty poor.
I think there's a bigger picture, but hopefully he's shit!!!

I like the look of their keeper, seems big and imposing.

and Lansdown senior will be coming in to talk to the players before the game. I was told he tried that with Nige and got the door slammed on him!
I’d love to know if that was true.
Bet that wiped the smile of the smug ***** face.
God I can't stand the bloke, tinhat on.

Brave triang!es?
The only triangle I want to hear about is the Bermuda Triangle when it swallows up the Lansdown private jet!!! (Obviously I don't wish them any harm).

Awful first half. Needs changes at half time.
Shame we can't substitute the manager at HT!

That's on Manning as the goal came from pring not being fit and him getting skinned for the goal! Take him off FFS.

Sheffield is not 4th largest city in England it's not even the biggest in Yorkshire, they do have a tram though!!!

Odd poor performance.
We got 3 points from 18. We were thoroughly awful against Leeds.
We played well but lost in Nottingham. Got two league wins followed up by what ever the hell that was today.
Are we progressing? I think there is progression in some areas of play, but not others, however the only individual who I see progressing obviously is OLeary, manly because he is called to save us so often.
Hes stagnant, defo not improving and he wont without competition, QPR could have had a second when he palmed a shot sideways and onto a QPR player whos should have done better, it was only a couple of weeks ago when he spilled a shot at Coventry which cost us a win.

I havent been his biggest fan of late but when Bell went off injured we seemed to run out of ideas and lose our offensive threat. I think Manning got it all wrong from there on in.

With talk of players coming back (except big rob, hopefully not to serious), if by some miracle we had a fully fit squad, ignoring form or not deserved to be dropped, what is our best starting eleven? think i like the look of
O'Leary
McCrorie Vyner Dickie Pring
Knight Naismith Williams
Skyes Conway Twine
I may need to swap Nailsmith & Williams, also difficult call between Dickie & Atkinson
I thought Atkinson was fairly close to a return so should really be included.

I will stick my neck out and say I would fear more a team trying to get into the playoffs than one comfortably qualifying as a minimum.
What about one whos trying to secure autos rather than the lottery of the playoffs?

I will defend on one level anyway.
In theory and this is only in theory, the redeveloped stadium, the Training Ground, the improved Academy, indeed the Commercial Revenue from AGL and last but not least subject to where the revenue goes and how it is distributed, a good chunk of Sporting Quarter if it ever gets finished should benefit the Club.
Should benefit the Club or provide a platform to do so in the medium and long term by boosting our revenue streams. If you boost revenue streams it along wirh a Productive Academy provides a platform to continue growth and building.
Now there are quite a few caveats but put simply the better your revenue, the better your platform moving into this new system. Making the most of it..that is totally different.
Ditto spending to the maximum losses or exempt areas- why for example have we shied away from making a serious play for Category One status?
Agree with all of that.
One more thing, why have we never looked at the short term future and hung on to our best, young talent and pushed the boat out (as far as we can) and really gone for it.
Im nearly 50 years of age, my health is poor and Im beginning to wonder if I will ever see my club play in the top division.
"Always believe", nah not with SL in charge.

I dont think theres anyone out there thats watched Max that would say he cant be outstanding, however he is too inconsistent and every defender worth their salt will tell you about their keeper is that they have to be reliable and dependable and that comes from consistency from reliability.
Max doesnt have that in his game AT THE MOMENT, hes still young, Im sure he will get there, he wont get there without competition for his place and the experience that fight for the jersey gives him.

Afternoon all,
Martin is my brother, and fought this vile disease with such bravery and determination, I couldn’t be any prouder. City was his life and had a fantastic network of friends who have been incredibly supportive of Martins battle. A stubborn so and so at times and did not let his diagnosis stop him. Martin was given 5 years when diagnosed nearly 12 years ago.
Thank you for the messages, they will come as a huge comfort for myself and the family.
Martin was a top guy, when i was on my last legs last year after suffering huge blood clots on my heart, lungs, kidneys, spleen he helped me feel relaxed and at ease with the prospect of dyeing, I just wish Id had chance to send him a FB message, a way he communicated with me through those dark days and anytime he had a bit of goss about the city playing up.
RIP Martin, its fair to say that your brother was "City as ****".

I've said it for years like many others, we will NEVER achieve anything with Lansdown at this club.
It's time for some crazy foreign owners that may at least give us one season of relative success.
