Yes, it's not a video game.  When a tank blows up three or four families have just lost a son, and most likely a conscripted son.

As has been said after losing a war the next worse thing is winning a war.

When I was growing up my older relatives had fought in the war; none of them talked about it.  Not one.

My Opa is from Amsterdam he lived through the GHerman occupation, only surviving by his parents sending him to a farm, the only part of the war he talked about was sneaking out of the farm with a friend and hiding on the banks of the river in Arnhem seeing the allied forces knock shit out of the Germans. Wow imagine that, the other part of the war he talked about was being in Dam Square when Amsterdam was recaptured by Canadians. He was my hero, my Opa, best friend and Dad, he died in hospital January 21 after contracting Covid in hospital, even writing this  brings me to tears. RIP Daany.

Selling Semenyo in January could be a blessing if we can use the money wisely. As others have said he really doesn’t work as one of a pair of strikers. Back to goal he wins little unless it’s to his feet and can spin the defender. The answer to that of course is you take him out when he spins as Millwall did today. His strength is running on to through balls but Williams and Scott have been totally ineffective in that department as have our defenders distribution other than sideways or backwards. Scott was doing it when alongside James but to me Williams looks a League One player.

Scott let the man run past him which led to the penalty, has a woeful set-piece delivery and like Conway seems to have hit the wall that young players do when they struggle. Weimann well is off the pace and lost his spark/confidence, Meanwhile Jay D and Sykes can ruin any attack with their crossing . Basically without James and Naismith we look a complete mess.

Today as against Birmingham we predictably got bullied and the better side won.

Conway has not hit a wall, he simply is not as effective without Wells.

Why has Pearson broken up such a lethal strike force, its an absolute joke.

Semenyo doesn't fit in with the way we play, so don't play him, revert to what worked so well.

After Blackburn away I genuinely thought play offs maybe are realistic with a bit of luck, now Im thinking relegation maybe with Pearson trying to fit Semenyo in, I just don't get it, does he not like Wells?

13 touches in just over 60 minutes for Conway is rough. They must find a way to get him involved, or try something different.

Could try pairing him with Wells, don't understand breaking up what was the leagues most dangerous and fruitful strike partnership, a joke!!!!

  4. Im lucky enough to have bumped into Luke a few times in one of my neighbourhood restaurants and once in my local CO-OP, Ive nothing but good things to say about him, a lovely guy and a top footballer. I remember grabbing hold of him at Bradford after securing promotion and telling him "you will be playing premier league one day lad", he was so easy to watch, taking the ball out of defence, time after time waltzing past players, he could defend as well! Well he's premier league now and where is Mr Johnson ......

What a terrible year for losing legends from among our supporters. RIP Stoney.

Was just thinking the same, this few years have seen some real City legend pass onto the other side. RIP STONEY, you will be a great loss.

I hope we use the loan system to help our defence. It’s tragic to watch. The amount of crosses we let into the box makes my head spin

I actually thought it was a tactic by letting all those balls into the box, not getting tight to your man, thus letting him cross at will, it was so blatantly obvious. Lets hope this gets addressed in the summer transfer window, if we could tighten the defence up, well who knows.............

Don’t know how anyone can not see that this makes complete sense in literally every way.

Played loads of minutes, scored really important goals, key player from defending set pieces (even though he shouldn’t be), and an extremely experienced pro that’ll help the youngsters. Would cost a pretty penny trying to replace him if we were to let him go.

Completely agree, I for one am glad to have a player who busts a gut for his wages every week.

A top pro, who's experience and nouse will be a good example for the youngsters to follow.

    Well earned Chris.
