But surely the sixth richest owner in the county will back his manager ?
The owner can be a squillionaire but if he only has 4-5k season ticket holders he’s hamstrung by FFP

I saw him in one of his other games & he kept diving after the ball had already gone in.
He’s clearly ******* awful, apparently their first choice (away on international duty with Finland as their 3rd choice) has saved them a few hammerings this season.
And that’s the thing with the Fewers who think waving a magic wand at it will work. A new Manager will come in, especially a good one, will look at half the squad and say I’ve got to get rid of these and replace if you want me to finish top 6...........that’s the point that Wael was last seen running down the Gloucester Road trying to hail a taxi for the airport.

Part of me thinks that given the circumstances Cotterill left us in, he’d be interested in the opportunity to get Rovers promoted and stick two fingers up to Lansdown. If he does go there, I think I will bet on him getting them promoted next season.
It can be done on a budget but think of the squad Cotterill assembled to get us up, the cost, the wages etc. then ask where the money is coming from for that based on Rovers FFP limit.......

Bit late - but bloody hell the keeping on that first goal...
He’s their second choice keeper and in all honesty doesn’t look like he’s up to EFL football at any level. The third goal wasn’t great either. So that’s money the new Manager will have to spend in January. Let’s hope the “proper” keeper gets suspended for a while (don’t wish injuries on anyone) cos with Von Flapperhoff between the sticks on a regular basis they are doomed!!

Greg Clarke would be a good fit up there......

I really hope not. But by Christ he’d sort that shower of shit out.
Would he though? Good players cost money and want to earn proper money. Where is that coming from?

Ever since he left and each time they’ve been looking for a new joker, I get that horrible feeling Cotts will eventually go to that shower.
Cotterill got us promoted then struggled at Championship level with a far better squad than they’ve got or are likely to ever afford on their budget......the one thing that always crops up with the Fewers is lack of investment.

To be fair, who made the decision to appoint him, then sell his best striker without properly replacing him. They are a total mess, with that squad klopp would struggle for results.
A few weeks back when they won at Lincoln they were going places and building something special. That aged well.......

Many a true word spoken in jest
I can’t imagine Lee Johnson coming from Nantwich to manage a side with their budget. When he’s told he has a Tilson to spend.....on the entire playing budget....it might well be a thanks but no thanks.

Lee Johnson or Philip Cocu would turn the ship round apparently......

It’s a bit unfair really that Fleetwood have hogged all the dry, sunny weather in this match leaving Rovers dealing with the rain.
I expect if they do go on to lose this match one of their dribbling pounders will write a book about this injustice. Dozens of angry emails will get sent to the Met Office.
Never happens to the Teds.......I smell a rat.

Apparently Fleetwood had a hurricane in their favour first half. Two penalties to the Gas, a Fleetwood sending off, Barton sent to Row M of the big tent and a 2-2 draw on the cards........

We’ve got a young player who is learning the position on the job at this level, we are getting away with it results wise and he’s showing plenty of signs of being up to the level required. Gotta like that surely?

Just interested on peoples views not just tonight but overall.
For me he is so far out of his depth it would be the one position I’d be looking to reinforce come January.
I just feel his positioning is woeful and his passing for a “ball player” is below par.
Seen lots of views on tonight saying he played well but again thought he was very lucky that Moore didn’t get a couple after he lost him at a few corners.
Overall I just feel we constantly say “he’s young” “he’s learning” but how long can this go on? Him and Moore will be the undoing of promotion if they play 40+ games
Who played the initial woeful pass that opened up Cardiff on the goal?

Ok Smart Arse, given the stories subsequently released please explain why she would stay with him. She suspected he was cheating with 2 others. Please explain to me why she would stay. You have this theory of the Giggs mafia ready to track her down if she leaves. Why would he care ?
Only one person here that needs to grow up and it isn't me buddy boy.
Not judging this case but it isn’t all about dough. Why does the wife beaten senseless to the point of needing hospital treatment by her scaffolder husband (not a dig at scaffolders just an example, could be anyone and often is with domestic abuse) decide at the last minute not to give evidence and let the guy move back in? It’s not for the share of the £40k per week that’s a certainty!!

Do they get extra fans with the deal so that the club end up with something approaching a fan base?

Keith’s got a tough game against University of Stirling. Are the rest of the squad self isolating?

The guy clearly must has issues, what a way to ruin your career! You cant defend those kind of actions, he was lucky enough no employer or sponsor turned their backs when he got with his brothers wife but to beat up his gf, wow what a horrible guy.
Had the chance to take wales to a major tournament and his ego i guess thought he could get away with anything..
I really hope he gets sacked but chances are he makes an apology and says he has mental health issues and gets away with it and quits after the euros..
IF (still a big if at the moment) he is found guilty he will be fired, not even a discussion. No National sporting organization in this day and age with the clear and obvious exception being British Gymnastics, who have an astounding reluctance to condemn and take decisive action against child abuse, bullying and humiliation that has so obviously occurred in their organization in a structured way, can have that sort of association to their name without taking firm action.

How about they bring this story out when it's fact instead of tarnishing a man when he could well be innocent. Standard disgusting UK media
Somebody would have to have explained why he wasn’t managing Wales.....

I ******* hate men who beat up women (and any other gender mix domestic abuse!) There are many, many more than you think there are.
Statistically there will be some reading this thread - and if that’s you, you’re a piece of shit.
For the rest of you - sorry about the rant!
Can’t argue with that!!
Apparently women on women in relationships is the highest chance where abuse is likely to occur.......
