See the new Manager was “at it” already yesterday praising the blue hordes that made it to Fleetwood. He knows....... give the Saggies a bit of praise and you literally have a free ride for 12 months.

Haha, Yeah I had this question from a couple of sniggering, goofy looking Sagheads.
In fact whenever we lose some Sag d1ckhead comes out with it.
When was the last time they were even in the Championship? 25 years ago?
I wonder if I’ll be asked on Monday how City got on over the weekend?
Same and the poor tent ender even suggested we would lose 4-1 yesterday.......

This is a new ploy by the Fewers. That paltry home attendance now means their away numbers as a percentage of home has gone through the roof.......making them the best supported team in Bristol by miles.

I'm about a mile away and didn't hear a thing when they got their equaliser. My Mrs was in glos Rd on Thursday and could here our goals.
On Thursday?

Bristol City 1-0 down according to the Radio 5 summariser
I’m sorry but that is sackable as far as I’m concerned. No journalist should get either club wrong if they are professional, end of story.

If the Fewers go down to ten that will explain it.

They must have only fielded their full Championship Ready Sprinkling of players against the Fewers then? That’s rotten bad luck........
-
To be fair they only need to string 3 or 4 wins together and the missing 22k will be back.....

6,677 Sags........what was on television tonight?

The blue few I work with are some how trying to sit on their high horse this morning congratulating Ashton Gate for the biggest attendance for a sporting event, thinking somehow that it’ll piss us off, then stating it couldn’t be city tho as we were all in Luton being racist.
This from a club who evicted Bristol rugby from their spiritual home and certainly have their fair share of bigots.
They also claimed they’d get four times their attendance had they a bigger ground.
We both lost on Saturday, we’re pissed off, they’re happy cus the rugby generated a bigger crowd than the football.
*****.A club that hasn’t averaged 10k in the last 40 odd years would suddenly average 28k in a bigger ground even though they can’t fill their current tented structure. Gaslogic at its very finest...

Heard the same as well, my source works for a company with a site near Fruit Market and he got told this week that they would be moving within two years. Site was sold to include housing.
The need to be moving quicker than that cos Wally said it would all be built within two years.......two months ago.

I know they will say they will sell it out every week etc, but they will need a lot more people in there than their paltry crowds they get now just to cover the larger overheads and to keep the losses at 65k per week. Assuming it will be a massive loaning facility the new owners will want their investment back so how do they survive?
Still, we all know that no questions will be asked of the new owners and their intentions, and will just be shouting how rich they are and discussing a 30k stadium and Premiership in 5 years. I can see it all turning sour myself.
You’ve added 10k on to the capacity already......that’ll be on Slagchat later as fact!!

What sort of Bristolian football fan gets off on being preferred by Swansea and/or Cardiff anyway?

Their average last season was 8,320.
They tend to exaggerate everything.
(they averaged 9,302 in 2017 - their highest in 40 years)
Which, applying Gaslogic, means “if they were in our position” (an old favourite of theirs) they would piss all over us and would be expecting 35k plus including car park “lockouts” for the visit of Swansea on Saturday........

Champions League is one.
Schools are back and it's a midweek game.
Bake Off was on.
Getting cold and they can't find their coats.
In all seriousness who misses a game cos “Champions League” is on the box?

Anything but actually pay to get in.
Wonder what the “Excuse of the Week” for that woeful turnout is?

I'm not saying just under 2000 to Stoke is good, but didn't the gas say taking big away following is "just what we do"? That's 1/5?
Yeah but no but etc. If they were in our position (that old chestnut) they would have taken 17k to Stoke yesterday......albeit you would have to be a Grandad to remember when they last got more than 12k at home.

Now you can’t be annoying those gappers by using facts to back up your argument. All Roverz attendance figures must be discussed using only Gaslogic.
That’s ****** it then......

If you take away the away supporters, the average home attendance for that lot is around 6,800.

Not long now....
So when they talk about the “missing 2,500” they are borrowing 1k from the opposition?
-
The Fewers many attempts to either rewrite or airbrush history never succeed...basically because 95% of them are as thick as shit.
Only in #Gaslogic can you ruthlessly withdraw funding and leave a team right in the lurch and when your rivals come in years later with the funding play the poor hard done by........always the victims.

Yep. I think the various Managers out there leave the phrase book on the desk (assume it’s an Ikea flat pack job) when they clear out. “Massive numbers”, “they deserve better” blah blah will all appear in due course.
