  1. Does anyone know how many of the players who got them promoted are still in the team? I'm assuming not many at all. I know it's a huge step up but there is/was no logic in recruiting so many players and losing the whole identity of the team that gained promotion by not at least giving the majority a chance to show what they can do. I can't imagine Cooper was happy really as he's in effect starting again with a new team, having to deal with his old team being pissed off they arnt playing and all I'd guess on less £££ than the new signings, a complete moral disaster. If they stay up it will be a miracle
  2. I saw a stat this morning that said the previous player to get to 3 prem hat tricks the quickest was Michael Owen and it took him 48 games or something compared to Haalands 8 games! Unbelievable player
  3. I didn't realise there was a new tent at the Mem!
  4. He just cant he just cant he just can't control his fists
  5. 2 points from a possible 18 in the last 6 form guide, lovely stuff!
  6. You want England games to be shown on Thursday or Tuesday afternoons at 3pm??? With all due respect, what are you talking about???
  7. Personally I blame the people who invented the English language and their utter laziness by using the same words for different things just spelled differently, they should have worked harder to find unique words for everything, very poor.
  8. When more and more of our players are attracting attention from other clubs then that means we are doing something right, it's when nobody wants your players that you have a problem!
  9. I can see a change if we lose this one as well. They played well v Norwich so chance for same team to get the result this time, but 2 losses on the bounce has to mean a shake up for me next game, otherwise the rest of the squad will be wondering what it will take for them ever to play!
  10. When I was 13/14 I did work experience as Ashton Gate working in the ticket office basically. One day a female reporter came to interview the manager who at that time was Russell Osman. They asked me to go and tell Russell that the reporter was there to see him. I was very shy at that age but took up the challenge! I knocked on his door and said there was a reporter there to see him, and Russell replied with "is she fit!". I didn't know what to say and scuttled out! Not sure he would get away with that comment now!
  11. This is awkward…https://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/218004-we-need-to-talk-about-kal/
  12. I get the Risk and Reward comment, but for the first goal it had nothing to do with Naismith trying to get a move going by being adventurous, he tried to control a ball he was never going to control instead of clearing it, that’s an error. The second goal could fall into the risk and reward bracket, but from previous matches there have been, for me, basic errors that were nothing to do with attacking, and all to do with basic defending. I really hope he sorts it out obviously
  13. You can’t drop Conway he’s scoring for fun, can you drop Wells when he’s such a good foil for Conway? Who would be a manager!
  14. I’ve bought some T Shirts from this site, really really top quality, thought you might like this one; https://thenorthcurve.com/products/lazio-classic-retro-football-t-shirt-football-top
  15. If they cancelled all activities, shut the pool and restaurant, and just left people in lodges then I think everyone would say fair enough, but if you’ve travelled far to get there, what exactly can you do! Shocking!
  16. I thought the football decision was bad, Center Parcs are losing for 24 hours on the Monday of the funeral, so those in a Friday to Friday break are getting kicked out at 10am Monday and have been told to find alternative accommodation for 1 night! I would refuse to leave personally
  17. You think you’re right, I think I’m right, let’s leave it at that
  18. I was referring to other comments in this thread when I said there were no issues with acoustics the night of the Man Utd game
  19. 100% my point, if acoustics are bad then it wouldn’t matter how many people were in the ground, who the opposition was, whether it was on Sky etc etc etc you can’t pick or choose when the acoustics are bad. The truth is, since the ground has been renovated we’ve not had much to cheer, that’s changing now and I bet with bigger crowds, better football, more to play for, the atmosphere will be great
  20. It’s not an exception, the acoustics are the acoustics, if people sing then the atmosphere is great, as it was that night, if people don’t sing then it’s not. As others have said, people moaned about the Atyeo acoustics when it was first built, now it’s revered as some sort of acoustic masterpiece!
  21. I’m not sure I buy this acoustics reason for poor atmosphere. At the Man Utd game the atmosphere was electric because the whole stadium was singing and the Atyeo was packed.
