  2. Yep, same here. Easy process, no problems at all. Much easier than how it used to be done.

  4. It’s completely understandable that players’ heads get turned when a premier league club comes calling, especially with the high wages. But I also think that players like Scott, Semenyo and Massengo benefit massively in terms of their development from the number of games they play, which might not be the case if/when they move.

  7. Semenyo is such an exciting player - fast, skilful and powerful. He has huge potential and seems to have a good character too. Hopefully we’ll continue to see him in a City shirt.
  8. In my 40 plus years as a City fan I can’t think of a harder-working or more professional player than Andi Weimann. He always runs himself into the ground, no matter what position he plays, and he will be remembered for years to come. And he is not just a work-horse either, he is a quality player. He deserves the glory of his 20 goal season.
  9. Fantastic season from Weimann. I’m really pleased for him to have got the 20 goals.
  10. Excellent win, and by two clear goals as well. It’s good to see us getting results like this as the season draws to a close. Hopefully that will breed confidence for the start of next season.

  13. Yep, we do look like a team again. What really pleased me today was how after a difficult first half we rallied and in the second half contributed to a really good game. Thankfully those days earlier in the season when we became shapeless desperately trying to hold on for the last 20 mins have gone. A few months ago we would have lost a game like today’s, and it felt great that City gave an entertaining second half performance that would have been deserving of 3 points had we scored one of those chances.
  14. Yep, fair point. Our CBs were really good today. And giving the opposition too much space is a problem in how the whole team sets up.
  15. I agree with this. So many times today (and loads this season) we allow the opposition to have the ball and stand off them, making it easy for them to pick out a pass. In the second half today when Massengo got more aggressive at getting in their faces we looked much better. Also often when we are pressing teams in their half our players (Weimann seems to do this a lot) run to where they think the pass might go and in doing so give whoever has the ball acres of space to turn and go the other way.

  17. Yes, he looks like he’s getting back to his pre-injury/covid form. Defensively sound and I like the way he carries the ball forward. Not sure how the free kick decision went against him when he drove forward into their half late in the game.
  18. Dire stuff from City and we’re lucky to be level. Our passing and movement are poor. Massengo and James have zero grip in the midfield and we are giving them time on the ball.

  20. Yep, I’ve renewed mine and the kids’ season tickets. The last couple of seasons have been tough and I’m worried about what’s in store for us next season, but the kids (growing up fast, both are teenagers now, and have been watching City since they were about 4) have been more committed to going to games than ever, so I’m making the most of going to AG with them before they want to go with their friends/find other things to do.
  21. It would be great to get back to back wins, but this City team never make things easy. The main thing I’m hoping for is a decent performance and some entertainment, which has been in short supply.
