I dislike Leeds but I detest Wolves, so I’m glad they’ve had an unpleasant night.

He deserves the extension to his contract. His injury record is good, he is a decent player and a model pro and he has weighed in with goals. As has been mentioned numerous times on this thread, though, he has been flogged to death at times and we need another option.

It’s very frustrating. Surely any team should be well-drilled at defending set pieces, but we seem to be all at sea. Too many players make basic mistakes or make bizarre decisions (like Semenyo running away from the player he was marking for their first goal).

This is as good a chance as any for us to finally get back to back wins. But having said that, we are so unpredictable and Barnsley’s form has improved. A draw would be a decent enough result.

Yep. My first experience of heartbreak at a football match (I was about 13). There have been many since. I held a grudge against Mansfield for years after that game right up to when we beat them 5-4 and, of course, their win against the fewers in the Colin Daniels game.

That defeat still hurts.

We have enough of a cushion to be safe this season, but next season worries me. With a starting 11 on Sat that could, on paper, be considered to be our best one (with plenty of experience to balance the youth) we were terrible. Our defending is abysmal. We are easy to beat. Yes there will be comings and goings in the summer, but I was hoping that NP would be able to get more out of the players he has and get them playing more as a unit.
