Great stuff by Maidstone. What a finish for that first goal. The FA Cup at its best. And even sweeter that it has hopefully ruined Mark Ashton’s weekend.

He’s been superb. Very good on the ball too.

Really impressed with him so far, especially his marauding runs with the ball. And he will only improve as he gets more fit.

Really good performance from City. All that was lacking was a spark in the final third. Lots of positives. I particularly loved the surging run by Cornick. COYR.

I really liked Carey as a player. Always got stuck in, even in a game I vaguely remember when he had to be bandaged up Terry Butcher style, and had skill too - he was effective as a right back as well as centre back. Happy birthday Louis.

I had it! Absolutely loved it. But then again I was only about 8 years old so didn’t know any better. Really good to hear it again, though.

Gutted I can’t make it to today’s game. Hopefully it’ll be a good performance and result. COYR

He was superb tonight. Looked more confident on the ball and defended well.

Really enjoyed that. Loved the commitment from City and a fully deserved win. West Ham players seemed to lose their heads.
Missed the goal after getting to the ground slightly late (we scored just as we got through the turnstiles) - unfortunately someone on the bus from the Bris park and ride was taken ill, so the bus stopped on the Hartcliffe way and we walked from there. I really, really hope he/she is ok. Credit to the fans on the bus who stayed to help out.

It’s difficult to think of a harder working, thoroughly professional City player. He fully deserved his 20+ goal season. Best of luck, Andi.

Glad he’s signed permanently. I like him as a player and he has potential. Good shot on him and good at set pieces.

Just caught up with the highlights. What god-awful defending for their goals. Max obviously at fault for the first, and for the second we let their player cross the ball far too easily and then let the scorer get on the end of it. Much too passive.

I’ve only been there once - the game in the late 90s when we lost 2-1 and Watford pipped us to the league title. My dad had to go in the home end that day (away end was a sellout and he couldn’t get a ticket). He said quite a few City fans had to do the same and their fans were really welcoming.
One of those games today where we should certainly be looking to get something, but they will probably be thinking the same. I’ve got a positive feeling we’ll get the three points.

Sad news. He was a likeable manager
My memory of the England era under Sven was a lot of early promise, typified by that win in Germany, followed by underachievement with a talented squad. Maybe the players were complacent or maybe they weren’t as good as they thought.

On first impressions I quite like it.
Our badge is growing on me, but I still wish it would have incorporated the Suspension Bridge (like the tweaked versions of the design by posters on this forum at the time).
