More #gaslogic there. City didn't get promotion this season so it means they are better. Which must mean they are also better than Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City etc because none of those achieved promotion either.

To get the two promotions, you had to get relegated twice from where Trollope got you before you sacked him.  As a club you have not progressed at all from where you were in 2007.

City are the same, Johnson took us to the Championship and we are now just back where we were.  While I am happy to be in the Championship, I wouldn't describe it as "cool" that we had to go down in order to end up back where we were.

I can see why though. If I had to suffer the embarrassment of my team dropping out of the entire league along with the pisstaking from the neighbours, I would want to get above them ASAP!

It is somewhat hard to be bitter about the "success" of a manager that took a League Two team out of the Football League, before two seasons of scraping promotion to get into the division below us.

I find it all rather hilarious to be honest.

Apparently we've had a dull season. Admittedly we aren't going for promotion, but I would say it's been interesting for us in the CHAMPIONSHIP.

Our last 2 games have had nothing on them, but we are playing a team who have spent 3 of the 4 seasons in the Premier League, in our last game of the season.

I'd rather flirt with relegation in the Championship than push for top 3 in the basement myself. 

Hilarious that the 15er starts a thread about us on their forum to point out that we have a big thread about them on our forum and that makes us "obsessed" with them.  Their thread then gets to 7 pages in less than 24 hours....

By my recollection they didn't win anything that year..

They got a little trophy for winning the play offs.  They then spent a good few years banging on about winning a trophy that season whereas we didn't get a trophy (as we went up automatically that year).  Like I said, #gaslogic.
